Decent. Grayson knows him well, and if he can replicate the 14 championship goals he got whilst at Huddersfield it will be good business. Hopefully the first of a couple of strikers to come, and with asoro and maja too we should do well.

.He had 33 goals when last in Championship 2 seasons before.

He had 0 in 19 in 15\16 season, 7 in 26 in 14\15, 10 in 23 in 13\14 and 14 in 33 in 12\13. Not sure where 33 in last two championship seasons comes from.

No chance. Watmore not a centre forward and if Maja is our main central striker then that is ridiculous. Lad has got talent but no way should he have the weight on his shoulders.

Watmore has bags of pace, or least he did have before his injury. He's actually a decent finisher (goals v Stoke and Norwich show that) so I don't think it impossible that he could play through the middle in the Championship

He will be coming in to be an experienced striker, who Grayson knows and happens to be cheap. If he does start 20+ games then there is a good chance he has warranted those starts. I can't believe someone who scored 24 goals in a league below ours is being completely written off, he's not an inspiring signing but if we had stayed up and then signed Chris Wood, (a striker who scored 27 goals in a league below ours and had never been prolific before then) I doubt there would be as much complaining.
