Striker
It's pretty good business really, if he's one of 3 or 4 strikers coming in.
Do you think he will be? He'll be one of one or two, which is entirely the problem here.

Once lauded by Everton right? when was that? 5 years ago?Twice he's scored 10 or more Championship goals over a season. He once played 30 Championship games and scored 9, 26 and scored 7 and 15 and scored 0.
I've put his record up and it's bang average. If he was that good why did he have to drop down to Bury?
You can't get out of the fact he's bang average and his record which shows it even at Championship level is iffy by asking who else I'd sign for the same fee manI'm not in contact with agents and clubs so I have no idea who is and who isn't available. You have no idea he's even available for that fee ffs.
I can't see maja being 3 rd choiceDo you think he will be? He'll be one of one or two, which is entirely the problem here.
Cheers for infoJordan still desperate to come, clubs now both in negotiations. Jordan has been made aware Sunderland will be looking for 4 new forwards and that he can't be guaranteed first team football this season, but he's very confident in his own ability.

I'd be surprised if we bring 4 in, pleasantly surprised mindJordan still desperate to come, clubs now both in negotiations. I still think Campbell on a free is a no-brainierI'd be happy with Hugill, Vaughan and another 1 or 2!
Doubt we will get 4 unless your counting wingersJordan still desperate to come, clubs now both in negotiations. Jordan has been made aware Sunderland will be looking for 4 new forwards and that he can't be guaranteed first team football this season, but he's very confident in his own ability.

Possibly, like to think we've at least asked the question mindI'd be surprised if he didn't have a couple of better options (premier league). Brighton and Huddersfield for example
Frazier? Agreed.I still think Campbell on a free is a no-brainier
Club want 4, what we end up with? Who knows!Doubt we will get 4 unless your counting wingers
He's been a manager for 4 clubs and got them all promoted - doesn't matter what league you are in thats pretty impressive stuff. You are being very unfair on Grayson.I don't know about promotion with the players we are looking at relegation is the more likely and you would all have been saying that at the same time last year with the same targets. Short really has done us over, now stripping what is left of the assetts and not looking like reinvesting. Grayson will need to pull out all the stops to keep us in this league. To quote Bill Shankley again "buy second division players and you get a second division team." It follows that buying third division players will get you a third division team. That's the problem with relegation it brings that whole new world closer if you are not careful.
He is a manager, a journey man manager not a miracle man.
More likely to be Kevin given our ex-Everton themeFrazier? Agreed.
He never does that actually. Perry is one of the better posters here. I've been here since 2002.So you just spout unconstructive negative shite about a player who hadnt kicked a ball yet.
We have no money we cant sign 2 strikers for 15m. If Vaughan helps us buy a striker for 6 to 10m then its a sensible gamble.
Be 4 plus watmore and maja and asoro would be loadsClub want 4, what we end up with? Who knows!
