Exactly you can't just have one senior striker as good as maja looks let's be honest it's a massive step up

Hes hit around 10 goals in 3 championship seasons. If hes our first choice fair enough but if hes a squad player hes not a bad signing

No goals in his last 19 Championship games, only 7 goals in 26 Championship games the season before that (14/15). Prior to that he had two seasons hitting 12 and 14 goals, but before that you have to go back to 10/11 at Palace for 9 goals in 30 games.

Quick calculation (wiki so apologies if wrong) gives 141 Championship games 41 Championship goals. I'd say that was pretty bang average.
 
He won't be first choice. He's a decent option to have as part of a 3/4 choice of strikers.

I think he'll get maybe 10 goals next season. People need to chill the fuck out like.

Maja and Asoro seem to be getting better and better with every day on here.

We have no strikers. You wont get many 10 goal strikers for 1m.

If he can get 10 asoro and maja chip in with a few and our main striker gets 15 well be ok.
 
Seems to be a big focus on his goal return, which I appreciate is important, however is he a main striker? He can play out left and in the "number 10" role, and is a good reader of the game. Sounds like he offers slightly more than goals.

Not my argument, extremely aware of the situation and I don't believe we'll have much to spend even when we move the players who we still have who will be killing our wage bill. You can dress it up however you like, but his career and goal record is pretty bang average at this level.

I'd be worried that if we signed him not only has he been average at this level previously he comes with a history of plenty of injuries. Why do you think we'll sign a 'main striker' too? I think he'll be one of if not the main strikers should we buy him.

Also like to see how or why you think he would score an amount he hasn't always managed at the past at this level in possibly less games if he is not our main striker.

He has scored 10 goals in the championship before. So not sure where your plucking those stats from.

The lads high on confidence just played a full season and scored a lot of goals.

Now tell me who do we sign for the same fee thats better?

Twice he's scored 10 or more Championship goals over a season. He once played 30 Championship games and scored 9, 26 and scored 7 and 15 and scored 0.

I've put his record up and it's bang average. If he was that good why did he have to drop down to Bury?

You can't get out of the fact he's bang average and his record which shows it even at Championship level is iffy by asking who else I'd sign for the same fee man :lol: I'm not in contact with agents and clubs so I have no idea who is and who isn't available nor what we have available in terms of fee or in terms of wages if it was for an out of contract player. You have no idea he's even available for that fee ffs.
