You realise his first game managing the club was the 29th of the season? I know it's pretty miserable being a Mackem atm and you cling on to what you can but laying the blame for our relegation solely at the door of Rafa is stretching it a bit

I doubt that there is a single Newcastle fan that likes Ashley anyway so it was child's play for Rafa to foist any of his own potential failings in the transfer market onto the fat cockney arsehole, a few sound bites in the press is all that it took and whether it's right or fair we all know who will take the blame if Rafa says "fuck this" and walks away - Ashley
The only thing that may hamper Rafa's brinkmanship on the subject, in terms of getting new players in anyway, is just how much of an arsehole Ashley actually is

It does, the last few days has been canny funny the way he is trying to put a positive spin on everything, I don't know why he bothers to be honest because the comments he gets from Mags are hilarious they tske the piss out of him more than we do.

You are one of the mags going on as if Benitez is one of the best managers to grace the game, but compare his time at Newcastle with Roy Keane's time at Sunderland, and he has done worse than him.
It's alright though, you cling onto that champions league trophy he won over a decade ago mate - it's certainly helping attract all those signings
