74 pages. Fans of a club managed by Simon Grayson, with a career high finish of below the Championship playoffs, calling Rafa Benitez

Just the 15 trophies at 8 clubs. 2 La Liga titles, 1 FA cup, 3 Italian cups, Champions League, World Club Cup etc.

Give it up lads
Nee major trophies at the horse punchers though

And absolutely nothing with Newcastle ...... just like all the rest.

Benitez winning those trophies elsewhere doesn't actually mean you've something you know

He does manage the club you have failed to beat on the last nine times we have played each other though

Every cloud

Said a few weeks ago it would be one in, one out for them and they can't shift any of the shite he put on stupid money last summer. Ashley clearly sussed him in January. The whole thing is only ending one way now.

They were always going to need to buy, as he bought with no long term goal in mind. It doesn't look like Ashley is going to back him until he clears the decks a bit. However like others have said he will struggle as they gave the signings wages that no one will match.

I'm just glad for the mag s that Rafa is a world class manager and can develop players and doesn't need to spend big to get success.

Looks like it's only a matter of time imo. Doesn't appear to be getting the backing he asked for and wouldn't blame him if he walked. Cheap cunts R us, still living in 2007 regarding transfer fees.

If anyone is living in the past, it's your manager. At a time when the most successful clubs in the Championship have been those that have assembled smaller, tight knit squads full of young players from their academies and from the lower leagues, Rafa went in the opposite direction. Made his already big squad even bigger. Brought in a bunch of players who cost the earth and would always be difficult to shift.

The transfer struggles may actually save him from himself. Having a clear best eleven who know each other and the system they play in, inside out is what seems to have worked for the likes of Leicester, Bournemouth and Burnley. From what I saw last season, he did far too much tinkering. With a smaller squad and the same players playing every week, you probably stand a better chance of stopping up.

The Mag I work with talks about him as though he knows him. I can tell he really cares about him  Only pronounces half of the "f" in Rafa though. Ra'a this and Ra'a that.

How do you pronounce half an "f"?

Where's your mate from like?
Most of my mates can't say the letter "H"

They really struggle....its "endon" rather than Hendon and "ilton castle"

I'm far too posh for such pronounceation

Has he left yet?
