Benitez Future In Doubt Over Failure to Secure Key Signings

To be fair on paper Leujene looks a canny signing but will need couple of month to adjust.

Eibar had a decent defensive record and hes played for two big clubs so must have something about him. Get the feeling hes slow as a cart horse though the way Benitez described him which means Mbemba or Lascelles will need to play which makes the signing pointless unless they sign a pacey defender to pair him up with.

Didn't get a game at Auxerre or Man C, and managed 2 starts at Villarreal

Played for Gerona & Elba though
 
Am surprised at the average quality of the supposed targets he's after like Traore, Navas and the Norwich fella.
Lejeune ? Big difference between playing in Spain and England, plus, no pressure at little Eibar - unlike at skunk park with 95000 expectant scweamin jawdees .
