So now you've conceded thatif Pearson had done the same, (and he's just an example I'm using could have been one of several) exactly the same would there have been the clamour to keep him. I'm not being arsey btw just trying to understand

would have taken 3 points to overhaul us,
Took them down then spent the most money of all time to achieve promotion again and now seems to be stuck with a load of players nobody else wants and can't afford to improve the squad
Doesn't stop people writing best sellers about his success there though. Did Hughton get any books written about him?
2 points from us, Villa & Norwich
Wins against Swansea & Palace. No disputing the mags were poor both games though.
Good point against Man C, and another good point against a weakened Liverpool side.
Relegated.
They then tonk Spurs in an exhibition match with 10 men and he's the new messiah.
Is there a pack that is handed out to Sunderland fans or something? So many seem to trot out the same distorted version of the truth.
"Played defensively against Villa"
"Exhibition match against Spurs"
We didn't beat sides scrapping for their survival as is so often the case for poor sides in the Premier League. It may have been a pointless game for our 10 men, but Spurs were still going for something important, therefore not an exhibition match.
Could have been worse, he could have spent the most money of all time and not achieved promotion. Like Villa.
So you bump the thread up,you thick twat![]()

Is that in the book? 'Rafa once finished above a Di Matteo team'

We did, aye.Didn't you 'tonk' Everton in a game where their players couldn't give a single fuck and played like they wanted their manager out?
Also, Spurs were still going for second on the last game of the season (and a finishing place above Arsenal)
Don't know. But a team spent more than us and didn't get promoted, it's not just how much money you spend that matters (although it's a good help)

Who can't?Yer cant let them go on suffering.. they'll have enough of that next season.
Care to tell me which part of my post was incorrect? You won't be able too

It wasst an exhibition match but let's be honest. They completely lost their heads mid Chelsea game when they conceded the title and never got it back. Their heads were all over the place. Your win at their place earlier in the season was more impressive
