I doubt it.

We will be sorting a lot out at the start of the season and so will likely have a poor start. I'm hoping Grayson is someone who will eventually sort it out it out and get the club heading in the right direction. But you never get those lost points back. I think play-offs are a realistic goal, but it may take two seasons.

Although the Chship is mediocre, we will be very hard pressed to make the top 2 despite the fact hardly any of our rivals have stolen a march on us whilst we've fkd about for the 6 weeks since Moyes left.
Our squad is already cut to the bone, with anywhere between 3 and 7 still to leave.
It's a mammoth task for Grayson, but fortunately, most clubs can't throw money at the quest for promotion just like us. Probably only Boro can/will.

There'll be plenty of clubs fancying their chances of making at least the play offs -
Reading - Leeds - Derby - A/V- Norwich - Hull - Smogs - Sheff Wed - Us - and Fulham.
All depends on what SG does in the transfer market between now and Aug 31.
