Correct 'he' spent fuck all, it's finally sunk in!

Correct again, I haven't got a clue what's going on at my club but then again I'm not posting stuff about what I don't know. You're clearly struggling here, go back into hiding as you're making a complete arse of yourself.

You've just reinforced my point tbh. When any of your fellow fans mention how much was spent to piss the league I'll just tag you in their post and you can put them right on how much he spent in the process. f***ing zero pounds.

I can only pass opinion on what's already happened at SAFC, you've gone and appointed Preston's manager, it's a 5/10 appointment imho, he's 'decent' but 'decent' isn't enough for what your club needs. You needed a Keane, you went for Grayson.... Lets see what's what in December mate.

Saying 'he' spent xyz is a figure of speech. He actually didn't, he targeted players and the rest is up to others to do a deal. You believe he made a £30 million profit, do you believe he negotiated the sale of players or do you believe it was the CEO etc who did that?

You haven't posted an opinion or what's already been said, you posted that the club have nothing to spend, that is bullshit.

It is a 'decent' appointment, probably the best we could do in the current climate. I'm not worried about it, we need someone who can steady the ship, someone who knows the ropes, that is what we have got.

Terrific levels of fewm on here from the usual suspects.

Apparently Benitez is a failure because of 10 games amongst a career of trophies. Pardew is a success because of 1 aberrant season amongst a career of failure.

I'm honestly curious to see how some of you will twist reality if Benitez succeeds at Newcastle. Say we end up midtable next season (18/19), or win a cup in the next few years. I'll be fascinated to know how it'll be disregarded. I'm guessing there'll be talk of money spent, there'll probably be a forensic dissection of the opposition we faced and why they weren't up for the fight/were weakened/etc. and of course there'll be a reference to our recent relegation.

So many assumptions on your behalf as usual.

Oh dear, I worry that you've totally misunderstood the point and think that, instead, I'm suggesting that winning a cup is likely.

Poor Bear.
f***ing dreamer. Has world class Rafa missed out to Swansea on anymore loan players ?

Why wouldn't I think anything else from the most deluded fans on the planet

Why wouldn't you? Well you wouldn't think anything else because your partisan blinders are among the most powerful I've seen on here. You're utterly incapable of objectivity where Newcastle United is involved as if being reasonable or rational about Newcastle diminishes your support for Sunderland. Which is frankly bizarre.

:lol:cup win ffs
Not fully reading or understanding posts

And if Benitez fails?

Will he still be held in the 'world class manager' bracket as he is heralded by the natives on here

We've had Keane - he couldn't hack it
We've also had top name managers - O , Neil & Moyes for starters - they failed
Grayson will have the backing of the fans , he's making the right noises
He'll be judged on his signings & results

I wonder what effect all this transfer talk is having on the existing players......must be unsettling, when the club, media and fans all think we need 7 or 8 better players to compete in the top division. As far as I can see, the only players who can look forward with confidence are Ritchie and Atsu.......Oh and why have we offered a new contract to Gouffran?!
