Agree. I doubt there is a single penny to spend. Graysons task is to keep us up this season. Anything else is a bonus. Ffs we haven't got one recognised striker at the club and we are about to start pre season

Disappointing but if the deal was structured in a way that didn't suggest progress and therefore the additional payments Short was rumoured to receive if promoted then it may actually be a decision in best interests of the club ( and Ellis, sure it's not out of the goodness of his heart!).
On the plus side we will have ditched a bunch of overpaid prima donnas, massively reduced wages, brought in probably something like 50 to 60 million in fees( assuming we get good money for Kone) and have a manager that knows the league, has knowledge of players in lower leagues, has actually been very successful relatively speaking at the clubs he's managed and perhaps most importantly will see this as potentially the biggest opportunity he'll ever get.
It could actually work out very well.
