Benitez Future In Doubt Over Failure to Secure Key Signings

Really take Grayson? Shit in this league and lost all 3 matches to the mags - wtf are the credentials that make you think that? Nigel Pearson has done the job before but never fukin Grayson. I think the Germans will ditch that fukker anyway they are bound to have their own man lined up and I guarantee it won't be Grayson who is dogshyte or doggenshyten as they say in Germany

I'd take Pearson ahead of Benitez as well.

Always very wary of people telling me over and over how shit someone/something is. Like relentlessly.

Suggests that they feel the need to reinforce it so much that they're actually afraid it may not be true...

Mid table now eh?
I know mid table is a difficult concept for you, having spent most of the last 10 years struggling to finish outside of the bottom three. People that are not intellectually challenged would agree that mid table would cover positions 8-12. So better than that would be 7 or less. With the ridiculous numbers available to English clubs that would be on the fringe of a European spot.

Unless you were being deliberately stupid, and I don't think you are, the idea that a manager with his background could achieve this with support and time isn't that fanciful.

In that time you've been relegated twice, lost 6 in a row and we've had a Cup Final.

You've limped over the line to get promoted, transfer targets moving to better clubs and you're saying within 2 seasons you'll be on the fringes of Europe! You wonder why people mock you daft bastards, deluded kid, deluded.

Let's not forget without spending about £50 million he would've been struggling even more, what's the phrase people use for him, cheque book manager? A very apt name indeed.

Any other sad mag fancy a chimp?

Edit* chomp!

The top 7 must be bricking it

It really doesn't matter what went before. Those games have been played. What matters is how much support a manager gets both in terms of time and money.

I'd argue that someone like Benitez is capable of taking a side to a higher than mid table spot in relatively short space of time.

I'd also agree that we will struggle to stay up if he isn't given funds. That would apply at any club.

As for the spending £50 million jibe. What was he supposed to do with the proceeds of selling the shits that got us relegated? Did you expect him to lose half the squad and not replace them FFS? Will you be expecting whoever becomes your manager to not buy new blood or spend the money that your potential new owners could make available. Get a grip on reality man.

The top 6 won't be , that's for sure. The financial inequality ensures that.

Facts speak the truth. The facts are he is a failure.
So think what you like.

Who? :/

Where is failing to keep a very expensive team in the Premier League?

FAILURE.

Weve seen sides stay up on 20m spends last season. So Benitez already has a good enough side to stay up after a 50m spend last season.

This myth that he needs more money is created by Benitez because he knows he spent badly last season. Mags massively remind me of Keanes era here. Spending big on average players. Itll end in tears.

Aye you won being in the bottom three twice in that period.

Why dont you go to a message board where people actually care what you think? What a sad bunch of people the mags are on here. I pity their lives I really do.

Get a grip on reality! Fuckin hell son, take a long hard look at yourself and what utter shite you post.

A delusional clown. As for your "it really doesn't matter what went before" comment, if it doesn't matter why mention our last 10 seasons then? Typical mag, you used it to try and score a points but then when I mention how we fucked you over time and time again it doesn't matter, log off, fuck off and don't come back you sad obsessed clown.

Care to post how much he spent to achieve the above?

What I never get is Mags who come on here trying to wind us up saying we're small time etc, but always seem to forget that they're on a Sunderland forum, a Sunderland forum that just so happens to be one of the largest footballing forums in the country.
