In your opinion. I think it's one of the best.

We probably make very little from strip sales in any case. I bet adidas pocket most of it.
Eh? Are yay for real? You're firmly in the minority there.

As for the deal, football strip sales are massive to clubs. Just look at the likes of Real Madrid who are able to sanction huge deals knowing they'll make the money back in shirt sales.

Our commercial revenue as a proportion of our total revenue is a major concern as we are over reliant on TV money. Selling plenty of shirts is something we need to do.

There's no point in comparing us to Real Madrid mate. Completely diffetent ball game.

And yes, I think the strip looks class. The reaction is way over the top.

Anyone who has kids will tell you a full kit costs around £80. A quick google search suggests the shirt costs £4 to make, adidas charge £18 to the club, so there's a fair profit to be made.

Thankfully my boys took one look at that and said "no way I'm wearing that". It looks f@cking rank.

Strange. When I was a kid it could have been the worst looking kit in the world, stick a Sunderland badge on it and I'd have wanted it.

No doubt you'll have influenced your kids' decisions.

For shirt sales unsurprisingly it's the sides constantly in European competition that are streets ahead....

Class top man... will be rereleased in twenty years time dubbed as 'retro' and everyone will be going nuts for the . Embrace a one-off novelty, everything will go back to normal next year.

I was scouring about for figures for us earlier on and I find it very hard to believe we only sell 25,000 shirts a season like. Not a fuckin' chance.

How many shirts would we realistically need to sell to get close to making a difference though
