It's very frustrating the whole saga. If we have sounded him out and he's gone off on holiday he's either asked for time to think about it or told us in the terms proposed the answer is no.

Either way it seems he's not convinced by the job and that's the last thing we need right now.
 
He is being wooed by marty and ellis, cannot rush a good woo.

bain has exited his bunker and it took his eyes some time to adjust to a bright new dawn north of the border.

That is all assuming we have even contacted him.
Just because a couple of PF attention seekers and the odd red top ( who get their info off here ) say he has, means nothing.
Maybe he has been interviewed but is awaiting to see if we are taken over before committing ( and burning bridges )
Maybe he and others have been interviewed and the owner is waiting to see if a takeover transpires and wishes to see if new owners want any of the managers we have interviewed.
Lets be fair if Bain ( who has been an unmitigated disaster in his first year ) wouldn't fill me with any confidence whatsoever if I was an incoming owner and saw his recruitment cv.
