Embarrassing mags

But he didn't actually say that did he ..... you're just posting nonsense.

"They do any pathetic thing to try and prove they are the best fans."
Who is "they" in that context.?
I've seen this drivel written on this site many times. Have a go at the person (there is only one) who created that piece of art/shite, and not the rest of the community.

Christ that is cringey. I do have a bit of sympathy with the resident mags over the piece of art/shite in the OP. It is after all only one person's creation and not representative of their fans - apart from Doug from Wallsend who is getting it printed B1 and framed in his living room. But this petition has 2,500 signatures - that is weirdly impressive. I don't doubt the lads heart is in the right place, but why haven't they retired Pav and Speed's shirt. Before long their squad will be running into 3 digit numbers on the back of their shirts.

Will be slactivists who'll put their signature to most causes as they need to be seen to be 'showing respect on facey'

Not that I agree with it but retiring 1 and 11 is a bit different to 24. Also, again with the 'they'll have no numbers left after we've retired absolutely none so far'

Like I said before their it's the world we live in today I'm afraid, the one who can create the most sympathy wins, and it's not just mags it's society in general and I think it's unhealthy tbh. As for retiring numbers if he was say a local lad and died while at the club I'd say fair enough I suppose but after he's been gone a while and no one has mentioned him till now all this faux grief is a bit OTT, it's making a circus of a desperately sad event.

They'll be clapping all game before long. Tears of grief washing down the four corners of the ground flooding the pitch. Malkish, sad bassas.
