Cheick Tioté - RIP

Literally cannot f***ing believe it. When he first signed I was well chuffed he ran around and gave it his all. He was a true warrior in the midfield, even if he never was technically brilliant. He dwindled later in his career and I may have become his biggest critic but only because I knew when he was engaged he could offer so much more. its tragic to think that a lad that was merely 30 and physically fit can die on a pitch whilst training.

He will forever be scoring that goal against Arsenal and celebrating wildly for me. RIP Cheick. Tragic.

He was your main man at one point, we even had Cattermole do a hatchet job on him in the first minute to try to unsettle him, that's how important a player he was.

Bloody hell that's awful.

How does a dicky ticker slip through the net with blokes who are more closely monitored medically than most of the planet?

Properly knocked the wind out of me this.

30 years old, professional athlete... just so hard to wrap your head around.

At his best he was imperious RIP Tiote

Remember he was being touted as a thirty odd million pound player in his prime.

How much did you pay for him?

Grim.

Scored of the most memorable goals I've seen (or will ever likely see) in my 20+ years watching football.

RIP.
