David warner
I remember when the club flew him in from Australia to play in a T20 Quarter Final and the bugger was out for a duck.

David warner
Think that's a bit unfair, did well, just a bit of a pointless addition in a team that had no chance of t20 successI always expected more from Ross Taylor when we had him. Jimmy maher was shite
Having kicked back at the suggestion of Varun Arrun on the basis that he didn't have much of a chance to show what he could do this suggestion here is the undoubted winner in my eyes.Herschell Gibbs
Got off the plane and changed his mind
You're wrong. I said it tooDean Jones. There. I said it
Recently we've had more successes than failures, Sanga, Hastings, Chanderpaul, Taylor & Morkel
David warner
Warner was a cracking lad when he was here and was desperate to play in the championship for Durham even though Durham only signed him for the t20, but Cook did not want to play him (at the time he had never been selected to play in the Sheffield Shield for NSW). I watched him warm up for one of the t20s and his focus batting in the nets was fantastic.I've been saying we should get Chanderpaul back for years
Still feels surreal he was here, for how big he is now. I remember being at derby in a 20/20 and he played well
Are there any stories from his time here

it was only a few years back we had sangakarra man, and a few years before than chanderpaul, but much bigger players than warner

dont think ive ever been as excited about a Durham signing. His batting was superbAnother big name was Shaun Pollock as well...can remember him and Morkel destroying Lancs at Old Trafford in the T20.
And lest we forget..the divisive figure of Shoaib Akhtar.
No that's not my point
That he wasn't a big name then? How about ben stokes then!
Yeah he wasn't, just some kid who came over. Never though he would be one of the best players in the world.
