14-15 season - Knocked out to Real Sociedad, nothing wrong with that.
15-16 - Knocked out by world-renowned Kairat FC, who finished 2nd in the Kazakhstan Premier League, they're not even in the best in the Kazakh league.
16-17 - Knocked out by NK Maribor of Slovenia, who then next round was knocked out by another world-renowned team Gabala FK of the Azerbaijan league.

Aye, whereas our European record in the same timeframe is miles better. :p

McInnes is a decent manager who's done well with the Dons up here. Whether he would do a turn with us remains to be seen, but IMO he's a better manager than Alex Neil who done a good job moving from the bottom of the SPL to the Championship when he joined Norwich.

Its a pub league mate and however shite our current squad may be it would be at least third in your setup, above yours.

Mowbray actually got the Celtic job as he did well at West Brom. Strachan also did well at Southampton before going to Celtic.

Meanwhile McLeish did well at Rangers, then got Birmingham promoted and won a cup before his poor spell at Aston Villa

Bohs knocked Aberdeen out of Europe. We've won 4 League titles and 3 cups since Aberdeen last won the league or cup in Scotland. Are Bohemians a bigger club than Aberdeen? The League of Ireland has had more teams in the Europe League group stages than Scotland in recent years. But I hear Scottish football refer to our league as a pub league. Get off your high horse.

Jock Stein (first to win European Cup in Britain with Celtic)?
Bill Shankly (who turned Liverpool into a force)
Dalglish, George Graham, Moyes, Walter Smith, Graeme Souness, Jim McLean, etc etc.

Also SAFC won Division 1 with Scottish managers....

Mowbray relegated WBA, was sacked at Boro, and is now managing in League one.
Strachan relegated Coventry and was terrible at Boro
McLeish only got Birmingham promoted after initially taking them down, and he was awful at Villa and Forest.

Each have had a good spell at one club in this country, but overall have not had much success at all, barring McLeish winning a cup which you can't argue against.
