It is in a way aye. I don't think he was booed for being Darron Gibson. I think it's more the fact that he is seen as the epitome of a Moyes signing. An injury prone, has been/never will be yes man who gets a look in because he's played for Moyes before. Whether that perception is fair or otherwise is up to individuals to decide but I think that's why he was booed.
