Harry Kane

He'll need another 7 seasons to catch Shearer, that would only take him to 30 and if he improves his GpG he may well do it.

His GpG is 75 in 112 in the PL. he doesn't need to improve his GpG ratio on that basis

Needs another 186 goals. His ratio is a 2 goals every 2 games. If he continues at that rate he should break Shearer's record in 276 games (7.27 seasons)

Of the last 3 seasons he's played (when he's been a mainstay) he's managed to play in around 90% of Spurs' games so you could argue that you would need to add another 10% onto the games needed which makes it 304 games (8 seasons exactly).

8 seasons at exactly the same scoring rate to beat Shearer's record.

It'll take some beating but he can do it imo.

No doubting he can but it is a big ask and it wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility for him to go abroad.

It fell perfectly for Shearer at the right age, etc but putting the level of performance out there in numbers and what needs to be done only shows Shearer's scoring achievements in an even better light.

Shearer's record was all down to 4 seasons at Blackburn where he scored 112 goals in 138 league games, at a time when loads of strikers notched 20+ goals a season (Fowler, Sheringham, Wright, Collymore, Ferdinand, Cole etc).

He didnt even have a 1 in 2 record at Newcastle despite taking all free kicks, penalties etc.

Mags will always claim his record at Blackburn to be part of his Newcaste folklore

So everybody is in agreement that the lad is shite:cool:

Too late for 'irony' ....... you fucked up, just admit it.
