Where do you travel?
You out of everybody on here makes me most curious
Across the land.
I reckon you work in Felling and live in Jarrow
Correct.
It's the 21st century for fucks sake, you cant a train get through a bit of standing water? Not as if it is a 3rd rail system
If you can't see the tracks you don't know they're there.
I would argue on the balance of probability they are, its not hoppings week is it?
The gypos will have a field day this year. The council has replaced most the metal railings in the Gosforth area.I would argue on the balance of probability they are, its not hoppings week is it?

They just park their clapped out escorts and clios over people's driveways instead of paying the 3 quid parking fee instead.I was referring to the disruption the metro delays might cause to people attending the fair, imagine all of the upset alans, ants and decs in the toon.

Wouldn't it mess with the track circuits too?Fair point about the hoppings but the sleepers could be misplaced, the ballast may have washed away so the track becomes misaligned or any points you go through could have reverted against you if the water had tripped the electrics.
Loads of stuff you need to consider which is why you can't drive on track you can't see.
It would also be an issue with the track return, what with water & electrical conduction - but don't bring science or facts to this thread...Wouldn't it mess with the track circuits too?
