Defoe doesn't give a f**k

In the sense that decent balls may be allowed to be played to players other than Defoe who can then shoot from anywhere regardless?
We will never know how many Borini for example may have scored this season had he been playing in a team instead of living of scraps from Defoes table.

Someone had to score.

Statistically even a team as bad as ours would score over 20 goals a season so someone was going to get them.

As the lone front man, Defoe got his share. Half were penalties as well.

Defoe movement is excellent and far better than Borinis. Fabio has had chances up top and showed nothing. Defoe is one of the top flights all time top scorers so I'd safely predict that nobody else in our team would come close to defoes goal haul this season.

If they took the penalties they may have. Borini has been poor this year, but he has done well on penalties in key games too.

Are penalties guaranteed goals? Are you saying he hasn't contributed his fair share to the side? Are you saying he hasn't been are best player in the last 3 seasons?

It's called being a striker, getting into the right positions to score, making your own chances has he has had to do a lot. Are people really that clueless on here

He has scored 10 goals in open play.
He shoots every chance he can get regardless of others in better positions.
He never gets subbed even when having a stinker
His attitude towards some of his team mates seems to have alienated them or made they so scared to try anything.
He has done well in periods but its time to move on. Lose his wage and build a TEAM not just one man who mainly cares about his own personal Premier League total.

We have got under his skin man and there is no doubt in my mind that he will be actively looking at our results next season and hoping we bounce straight back. Not for anyone person at the club but for us the fans and people like Bradley and his family

Believe it or not Borini has a much better shooting accuracy than Defoe this season, shame he shoots like a girl.
Although he would've still only got 14 goals had they all gone in.
Jermain has had a significant decrease in hitting the target from his last two seasons, well season and a bit.

So you wanted him to play for free? The goal against the Mags, his goals last season in key games and he's great work with Bradley all means nothing to some of our fans.

Footballers don't think like us fans. He has his career to think about. He has a small chance of playing in a World Cup and wants to continue to play in the Premier League. What's wrong with that? Will you feel the same about Pickford if he leaves?

A significant decrease because we never have the ball to create things for him. We have been abysmal this season and Defoe and Pickford have been the only ones who can emerge with any credit. To have a thread designed to slate him is baffling.

Not at all. Good luck to him and his 80k. If thats the going rate and we can afford it then I more than happy.
I wont be grateful to him for it though. He sold his service to us and we paid him.
He must of wanted a clause to say he could leave for free if a relegation didnt suit his agenda.
Nothing to be grateful for.
