Is he balls. Cattermole, who is very limited, is head and shoulders above him. N'Dong is a fairly poor footballer who runs about a lot.
I really want to like cattermole, he's the no nonsense type of player i like, but he's unbelievably slow, I'm sure there are players out there who walk faster than he runs! And he's never available.
I think 11 Ndongs would beat 11 cattermoles.

Anyone that cannot see that Ndong would be a great player on a good team should stop watching football. Not his best performance today but head and shoulders above everyone else.

We need to build a team around him

Really? He was dreadful. His positional play is shocking

The lad doing his best rodwell, hiding and taking up awful positions time after time. Couldn't be bothered to track runners and somehow managed to get caught wrongside of Britton for second goal.

His performance summed up in the second half when he didn't bother to get himself onside even though he could see right in front of the line.

Is it just general lack of football awareness or a lack of application.

He is often in poor positions, trying to tackle from the wrong side. I don't think he has much positional sense.

Look at the poll on Roker Report he was MOM by a country mile

Did nobody see his role in the second goal. It was disgraceful. He was standing on the wing (no idea why), he then tried to track Britton who had the ball, he got outran. They played it outwide and he stood edge of the box and didn't move (siggurdson made a run and he just stood there and left him).

He was appalling yesterday. Says a lot about his team mates

Look at that lack of desire, no awareness or heart. Just gives up after Britton out ran him

I personally don't think that he is very good.
Can you pick out any midfielder that looks good in our team? I think he has been our best midfielder overall this season and yes that is with all the games he has played shite in.
I think he will come good if we get a bit of energy and commitment in the team. He can't do it all on his own.

I haven't seen enough from him to think he'll be any good here.

Still young though, so is still developing. However, you would at least expect to see some obvious traits in his game such as being able to control possession or play subtle passes.

I know it's an extreme but Dele Alli is 21 and looks lightyears ahead despite being younger.

He wouldn't

He would look absolutely f***ing outstanding.

Jesus wept, post of the day.
If you think Roy Keane would look good in our side then you must think we have a good football team which of course you know we haven't. Roy Keane would be running around chasing shadows while Rodwell and co would sit back and take it easy. Keane would have no effect on team of spineless wankers.

You defeat your own argument with second Gif there are three Swansea players in the box and Ndong was tasked with carrying the ball forward. There are seven Sunderland players in and around the box what do you want him to do if the ball broke free and a Swansea player ran in and smacked it in from the edge of the box it would be his fault for being out of position. Pickford is a very good keeper but totally at fault for the goal but don't see him getting Pelter's.Ndong is judged by his fee if Gooch or Honeyman had put in the same performance they would be getting plaudits

Nah he should have tracked the run, siggurdson has just walked off the back of him in his defensive zone on the pitch . He is criminal for ball watching after he does his primary job. He didn't once look over his shoulder after he passed Britton on (joke he was wrongside anyways and let him run). It's not the first time it's happened. It's just a complete lack of awareness. It's like when he loses the ball and just gives up, there's no anticipation.

Ndong isn't getting judged by his fee(not by me). I posted around January that he is clearly an important part of the team but he's so raw it's unreal. He's not at this standard yet. Was a massive transfer gamble that didn't work

The kid is carrying the midfield on his own I would like to see his stats for distance covered. He has covered all season for Rodwell Pienarr Gibson Janazai (sic) he will be mentally and physically exhausted . Bookmark this he will command a 40 million fee by the time he is 26

Based on what? Being better than rodwell, Larsson and Gibson? He's technically and tactically awful.

He is shite an absolutely waste of £13 million ' David Moyes hang your head

One of the better players this season, although thats not saying much, odd player to pick out for criticism. Gibson, on the other hand, was an aberration today.
An aberration is defined as - 'A departure from what is normal, usual, or expected, typically an unwelcome one'. Gibson's performance was entirely normal, usual and expected (and that includes taking into account his performances from before we signed him). It was unwelcome though, so that bit was right. Perhaps you meant an 'abomination', which is defined as - 'a thing that causes disgust or loathing' and would be bang on.
