So devastated by the events that I avoided PF all day yesterday, only now have I dared to take a peak.

10 years have past, back to square one. On the bright side it's going to be circa 7 years since they last beat us by the time we meet again.

Surely though, despite all the shit we're going through now and all the gloom, SAFC will rise again and we will stay true to the colours through thick and thin. If we sink, we sink with it. Here's to next season, get on your knees and pray to god that Moyes can turn this shitfest around.

Until then
FTM

A story about me grandma having balls springs to mind - let it go man - I'll be very happy with second next year ffs
Frankly I couldn't give a shit. But if we're being honest, after spending that much, most people, probably you and I included, would have expected them to have won it by some distance, not a sole point and a reliance on a goal from another team. As for us, I'd be happy to even be in or around the play offs.

They'll not keep Rafa
They'll struggle down there
So what if they kept Rafa, he's got no experience of the Championship & it's a tough league
Look at the shit they've bought, they're nowhere near good enough
See, they've lost the 1st two games, they'll be midtable at best
Well who cares if they're top at Christmas they've spent the most money, so they should be pissing it.
Who cares if Villa spent more than them? That squad and that manager should be pissing it.
Reading/Leeds/Huddersfield/Fulham will catch them and they'll not get through the play-offs.
Brighton are going to win the league
Well of course they won the league, they spent the most bar Aston Villa, but they should have won it way earlier.
They'll not keep Rafa
They'll struggle up in the Premier League...

The amount of mags on here now is f***ing mental mind. Where were you all at during the season? There's been about 5 or 6 new accounts sign up since the weekend, even the creep Midds is back.

All opinions and predictions. Who'd have thought they wouldn't all be spot-on eh?

Who'd have guessed that the predictions accepted as the consensus would be so contradictory?

I mean, sure if they'd all been prefixed/suffixed with "I hope", then it's fair dos. But the absolute confidence is what tickled me. Especially when the resident Newcastle fans/more objective Sunderland fans were calmly putting forward a more reasonable position.

Well that sort of stuff always comes back to bite people on the arse anyway. I believe my only prediction was that Leeds had a sniff of top 2, when they went on that great run around Christmas. Shows what I know.

we all do it.

I work in Newcastle, and the bloody in my face celebrating after cabayes scuffed pen and the late winner
"that's it, its done now, we are safe, yurz are doon"

and ahead of the villa game were pretty full on.

I admit id expected brighton to stuff Bristol at home, even after shit for brains stockdales 2 OGs off his coconut the game before, but had a nasty feeling villa would win.

Aye, but that's face-to-face instant "banter". On here everyone has a wealth of information at their fingertips, so considered, informed opinions should be the order of the day. Even if they're contrary to what you (the informal you) think, they should still have been based on something more substantive than a hatred of your (informal your) club.

I think Stockdale's two OG's were very unfortunate, he's making a decent save only for the ball to hit the inside of the post and come back at him, nothing he can do.
