Disappears in December 2015 when your team starts going to shit and then reappears in October when you's have hit the front in your league and we're bottom of ours.

Seems your as much a coward as your username was

'You's' is not grammatically acceptable in the English language. You should have said: when you have hit the front in your league and we're bottom of ours.
Hughie was certainly not a coward. He was an infinitely braver man than you'll ever be.

Of course, brave men throw ashtrays at their children

Bet we haven't spent much more in that time. Last season was very much out of character for Ashley. We were one of the smallest spenders for years hence the two relegations.

I believe you.

Completely mystifying why Rafa wasn't given the dosh to strengthen in January, as Toon could have easily have slipped up for the want of a midfielder.

If hindsight says the pretenders were always going to fall by the wayside with inadequate squads put your dosh on Wednesday (strongest squad) to win the play-offs. It might be a false dawn though as recently the play-off winners have gone straight back down.

But it wasnt just 2nd though was it

But promotion comes with the title, no?

He was happier winning the title (that comes with promotion) than promotion alone. It's not too much of a stretch for him to enjoy how this afternoon turned out more than the Preston game a couple of weeks back that we won in comfort.

Which curry house was it?
Last Days of the Raj in Gosforth

I believe you.

Fulham streets ahead of the other contenders, but would agree Sheff Wed better than Reading or Huddersfield.

If he was meaning how the day turned out then fair enough. A lot seemed obsessed with winning the title even before promotion was anywhere near secured though

The irony of a Sunderland fan saying we are a yoyo team when Sunderland hold the record for most relegated club in the premier league
Considering we had the longest stretch in the prem outside the top 8, we maybe shifted that tag.

Doesn't change the fact that is how you're now seen!!!

Seen by whom???

How can a team who have spent 2 seasons in 25 outside of the premier league be seen as a yoyo team

Please explain with an adult and unbiased reason

Of course we will find it hard to come by we won 29 games this season ...ill be happy with 13 next season

And be honest. Do you really think you will be able to offload some of your players? Do you think teams will feel they can come in and buy them? For me I don't think they will come cheap. If I know your lot you won't give them away. You will want as much as you can. They will become too dear to buy. I think you will find you will have most of your squad from this season next season.

A bit, but they were always going up with the money they spent

I've already had our Sussex Newcastle fans texting letting me know how super they are.

Thiss is why Newcastle fans are treated with contemp down here, they simply have no self awareness

Could not give a fuck mate

A serious question for the mags on here (must be a record number tonight)

When asked how you celebrated winning the title......will you say, I went out with friends and had a few beers?

Or will you say.....I stayed in and went on my rivals message board?
Why not both?

I went out and had a few beers after leaving SJP. On the train home I've been messing about on my phone. Hardly cutting into my celebration time!
