Newcastle were always going up, the fact we were there or there about fills me with great pride.

Of course I would have loved to have won the league but jesus Christ, it went to the last minute of the last game and little old Brighton had them celebrating like they'd won the FA Cup.

Three games to win it though. Must be a right kick in the arse that.
 
Fair play to Brighton though. Came back from almost oblivion to getting promoted to the top flight. Massive achievement considering where they were a few years ago.

I've already had our Sussex Newcastle fans texting letting me know how super they are.
