Back in the real world i doubt Newcastle or Ashley would be willing to spend the money we would want for Pickford on Pickford.

How much would the club want?
Not what biased fans want, but the club.

Newcastle wouldn't be looking to spend £15m or so on a goalkeeper when we've already got 4 decennt ones competing for the number 1 shirt.

If we got 14mil for a defender that cant defend i imagine we would get more than that for a keeper who is english, who has been called up abd will only get better

I wouldn't bank on that mate, if the wad of cash was stupidly big enough. Won't happen though, as the mugs don't have the cash, and Pickford wouldn't go to them.

Theres alot more money in football now though and it only takes a few clubs to be in a bidding war and the price goes up and up

Any decent player would have to think carefully about signing for a newly promoted side, who've been relegated twice in recent years.

As a Newcastle fan I'd say its compelte drivel as well.

We have 3 decent keepers on the books and Selz, none are as good as Pickford but we certainly won't be strengthening in that area.
