We've had the laugh over them for seasons man, flying planes, beating them time after time and relegating them yet you're falling to pieces when they've got laugh on us! Get over it man. It could be us again next year.
Honestly I havent a problem with mag fans having a go...I live in Northumberland and I had a knock at my door at 10 last night by a mag 'friend' (I did point out that if he was that good a supporter he should have been at the Hotch Potch).

I dont think its too much to want fair and balanced coverage of the region whether its football or wider issues as I pay for it. BBC North / Newcastle is the publicity arm for the City of Newcastle and their football team and that is not right given that at the very least 50% of their viewers do not share the Newcastle love in. People from Sunderland just accepting it means the city is at a massive disadvantage when it comes to perception which has much wider ramifications.

Why watch it then? Haven't heard anything about it at all tbh. Didn't watch the game last night and extended my congratulations to them before the game. Will be interesting watching their games as a neutral to see if they can bridge the gap. I'm all for them having another stab tbf, we've had 10 go's and failed each time. Said before, no N.E team will ever manage 3 consecutive seasons in the PL again, good luck to them although I suspect they'll be back down with us soon enough
Die

Spot on unfortunately.
Die, also

Posts 4 minutes apart, give it a rest it's embarrassing
So obvious innit?

No I did. It's all very simple and on this very thread. You'll understand one day.
I think you need to go back and see what Rocky posted. He said Current squad

It's going to be tough for you lot to get back up straight away. Assuming Swansea go down and Fulham go up, all of the following will be in contention next season:

Swansea, Boro, Sunderland, Sheff Wed, Villa, Norwich, Leeds, Derby, Huddersfield and Reading.
Newcastle managed it  with a god awful team playing shit footy.

I know he did but the post he answered was talking about next season so to mention current squad was totally pointless which I kindly pointed out.

@Mrjardine , thicker than a whale omelette.
But not as old as that joke!

This particular article was splendid this morning;

Normal service has resumed, and one of the best-supported clubs in the country is back fighting it out in the top tier after a one-year hiatus.

The Magpies have a manager fit for the top table, a stadium envied throughout England and fans who will back them to the hilt.

BBC apologists like yourself only exasperate the problem unfortunately. This goes way beyond football as it is how Sunderland and the wider region is represented.

When you watch the national BBC covering good news stories in Newcastle yet Sunderland is very occasionally used for bad news stories what role does the local BBC have in this? I would guess a very large role.

I would suggest you go and have a wank with Coluin Briggs. Pathetic.

BBC apologist? WTF? I didn't see the offending article. What was it that was so offensive?

Good post.

Must be automatic promotion.
Correct

We won't have our current squad next season though.

Pickford will go
Kone will go
Defoe wil go
Khazri will go
Larrsson will go
Kirchhoff will go
Borini will go

IMO of course and i don't expect us to have too much to reinvest. The quality may not be brilliant in championship but it's very competitive.
Yep that's about the size of it.

lad interviewed said they were going for a top 6 finish next season. the same as they were aiming for, 2 seasons ago.

let's hope for a similar outcome.
TOP SIX. Dear me what an idiot.

Well before you have a go at those of us who are concerned at the appalling pro Newcastle anti sunderland coverage of the local BBC you should actually watch it or dare I say keep your mouth shut.

Imagine actively tuning into something that winds you up this much.

Two relegations since Premier League began, how many have you had? Sunderland were the original yo-yo club.

6 League Titles, 2 FA Cups...

How do like those Apples you Skunk Fookwit.....

Nice to see the Mergs back in the room.....

Yes. Why are you watching something that you are on record previously as showing massive disdain to?

Of course, arse covered in splinters, fighting ya way oot of the fookin woodwork.....
