Moyes Having A Go At The Fans

Typical precious fan you. He's 100% correct - tell me which manager didn't get criticism cos even BSA got it on here.
And rightly so until the latter stages of the campaign.
They've all made ridiculous mistakes that people getting paid what they do, shouldn't be making.
The trouble is being a failure is probably financially better for them.
Take compo and jump into another well paid job. Repeat as often as you can.
I wish i had a job like that.

Khazri was our best player yesterday. Maybe the fact that he had something to prove to dopey dave had something to do with it. Wouldn't be surprised if big Sam comes in for him and Kone in the summer.

I was surprised so many turned up. There were lots of foreigners, plenty of Dutch lads kicking about Washington who went to see the mugs friday then us yesterday.

He was, no argument from me mate. Shop Window springs to mind.

Think he "selected " the quote.

I understood that he said:
“The support [this season] has been fantastic, and when managers are not doing well and teams are not doing well they [the fans] deserve to take their frustrations out on somebody, and nearly always it is the manager.

“I have no issue at all with that.”

Which is hardly having a go at the fans

f***ing hell, I'm embarrassed for the OP

Fact is SAFC is a joke in football, there is no denying that, to sort this shambles out os going to take a few seasons. SAFC fans though, have a habit of wanting instant results without looking at bigger picture.

Is wanting enough wins to avoid relegation "wanting instant results" ?

And please tell me what the bigger picture of relegation is ?

Well the bigger picture is giving somebody time to sort this mess out. Last 5 years have been a joke,

Bad form - sack manager - stay up by skin of teeth - repeat

There is so much potential in this place, but it has got to the point where we need to be relegated to regroup and sort it out. If you're happy finishing 17th every year then what we want for safc are totally different things

.....and if your happy being relegated then what we want for Safc are totally different things marra.

He thinks he's getting a rough ride here? It could be worse for him, he would be at the dogshit through the letterbox stage if he was with the mags, probably not far off death threats

And we go full circle back to the bigger picture. We are not going to improve by sacking managers every year, best we can hope for is 16th/17th. We;ve tried and we move no further forward. Something needs to change

Had on, we've been awful this season but we came back twice yesterday - that is fight. Our problem this season has not been lack of fight, imho, but lack of quality especially with the likes of Borini and Januszaj up front and a lack of talent and guile in the middle.
Eh so one game makes a season?, concede and it's largely been game over this season.

Don't understand why we have to get relegated to be able to "regroup" or "rebuild"

With regards his signings mate, aye they may not look the best but what would you want him to do? Go out and sign players on long deals who he doesn't know fully. Don't forget he had basically zero pre-season, a tiny squad that lacked quality. He got some lads in he knew which was good management in the summer. McNair looked decent but had horrible injury, Love is potential and Januzaj seemed a fantsatic signing but turns out he has a heart on a par with Borini. Winter transfer window, again we needed numbers as our injury list was horrific. He brought some lads in he knew. We lost Van Aanholt and tried for Ulloa and Naismith, but he wouldn't let SAFC be held to ransom. I honestly think he is the bloke to do the job. We've just been so poor for so long it needs to get worse to get better and by that I mean the championship

Like people are actually still peddling this excuse :lol::lol:

Oh but it is the point. Moyes responded to questions about the crowd turning in him during a match not a few threads on RTG. So his comparison with criticism of previous managers is a load of shite.

Shame the quotes have been picked and twisted.

They haven't. The quote was from his radio interview with Nick Barnes. The ones in here saying its out of context are from the written press.

I'm sure you can listen somewhere, and it's pretty pointed. "They've had a lot of managers here and they've criticised every single one of them."

Sick of hearing him talk himself up when he's been a complete disaster. He can take his win percentage and throw it up his hoop.
