Khazri is a classic example and I wish he'd alienate Borini more. In hindsight alienate was the wrong word to use, but he certainly doesn't get players running through walls for him and there are a couple of posters on here who know people working within the club saying the same thing
McNair looks half decent, good game down at QPR and didn't look any worse than the rest in the Premiership. Pienaar was clearly to get numbers in and Lescott has baffled me. He is cover for our cover, may aswell have given a youngen a few sits on the bench. TBF I think he addressed the right back with Manquillo, who seemed a good signing at time. Turns out he was not really cut out for England though, least we can send him back, past managers would have given him a 5 year contract
we'll agree to disagree mate, I think McNair has been awful so far, but that isn't to say he won't come good. Pienaar was his star man, he's even said he was our best player at one stage. He was even doing separate warm ups at half time with the coach, which led me to believe he was coming on. I reckon he was going to give them 10 minutes but the early second half goal scuppered his plansMcNair looks half decent, good game down at QPR and didn't look any worse than the rest in the Premiership. I was more shocked there were 40,000 in the ground in total![]()
Aye mate. "The Barclaaays Premier League"My mistake first time they went up was Owen Coyle
QPR championship team![]()
There were no end of empty seatsWas there though? Season ticket holders who didn't go (like myself) are still counted.
there was in front of me, I was f***ing freezing in the shade anarl, soft cunt that I amThere were no end of empty seats
Thinks he's doing us a favour being here
Khazri was our best player yesterday. Maybe the fact that he had something to prove to dopey dave had something to do with it. Wouldn't be surprised if big Sam comes in for him and Kone in the summer.Think the days of any player running through brick walls have gone fella. Khazri will never do that, and Borini the least said about the better. I honestly think with Khazri it has been a case of we cannot afford a passenger,
I was surprised so many turned up. There were lots of foreigners, plenty of Dutch lads kicking about Washington who went to see the mugs friday then us yesterday. There were no end of empty seats
Think he "selected " the quote. The lad started a thread with a quote that was correct by Moyes - thats all I'm saying. Managerial turnover has played a massive part in where we find ourselves now both financially and the state of the squad and many on here have supported that turnover.
I haven't heard the quote personally but for Moyes not to say criticism is warranted then he is a little deluded and probably in for a large shock at his next club if his team performs like safc have this season
With regards his signings mate, aye they may not look the best but what would you want him to do? Go out and sign players on long deals who he doesn't know fully. Don't forget he had basically zero pre-season, a tiny squad that lacked quality. He got some lads in he knew which was good management in the summer. McNair looked decent but had horrible injury, Love is potential and Januzaj seemed a fantsatic signing but turns out he has a heart on a par with Borini. Winter transfer window, again we needed numbers as our injury list was horrific. He brought some lads in he knew. We lost Van Aanholt and tried for Ulloa and Naismith, but he wouldn't let SAFC be held to ransom. I honestly think he is the bloke to do the job. We've just been so poor for so long it needs to get worse to get better and by that I mean the championship
Stop whinging about Moyes and the players. Moyes stays to rebuild. The reason the majority dont boo is that they are mature fans and not snowflakes. Stop bellyaching. Moyes stays move on nothing to see here!
He wasn't booed and there were no chants against him
even Wenger gets criticism.Don't disagree but I can't think of a manager who hasn't had criticism - I remember a BSA game against Palace where he got plenty of abuse - OK not the pantomime booing of yesterday. Which manager didn't get criticism?
Had on, we've been awful this season but we came back twice yesterday - that is fight. Our problem this season has not been lack of fight, imho, but lack of quality especially with the likes of Borini and Januszaj up front and a lack of talent and guile in the middle.
