The trouble at the protest.....

Who's having a go at fans that don't protest?

I've been called a mag, an embarrassment, was told the other day that if I was seen doing it I'd be spat on, that I'm a disgrace etc.

I haven't said to anyone they are a lesser fan for not protesting. I'll tell them I think they should join me - and give my reasons - but I respect they may not agree and certainly don't think I'm an "uber" fan for doing it.

TBH I think that most the abuse has been in one direction, and it's been directed at those wanting to protest.

I think it's legitimate to say that there's a lot of apathy at the SoL at the moment. It isn't a criticism of anyone - I feel it too. It's just an observation of what's happening.

I want as many supporters as possible to join me in protesting the state of the club. But whether it's 50 or 500 it's academic to me. I'm furious at persistent mismanagement and have been for sometime. I am going to tell the club this. If people can't be bothered or don't agree then that's fine - it's their decision. But honestly, fuck the charlatan Short. He's been an absolute disgrace this season.
You actually thought i was being serious?:lol: Give awer you daft shite

So what did you do to protest on Sunday as I heard and saw nothing?

Was it fuck said seriously man. Some touchy people on here like
'Don't be susprised if real fans spit in your face' or something very similar was what you said or something very similar iirc. That's a pretty serious accusation and a pretty genuine threat. It's nice to now people can actually protest in peace if that is what you are saying. I hope you won't be making a 'joke' like that again because I can tell you now it wasn't remotely funny.

Then Haway also said i wouldn't and i said i wouldn't but i would point and laugh. Read the whole thread mate

You've got a cracking sense of humour.
See above or is your memory that bad?

Was also " spit in your direction "

No one has spoken on behalf of all fans. We've made our opinions known and others can choose not to, or choose to express a different view. If you had actually turned up at the game you too could have made your opinion known.

Yes, dozens of times but you just keep posting more threads to attempt to get your own way ...... people are quite entitled to go, not go, protest, not protest, etc.

You want to protest so just get on with it, if people want to join in they will.

Your snide comment about me not 'turning up at the game' is typical of the reasons I have no respect for you.

I never had any intentions of going to that particular game and didn't need to be there to 'make my opinions known'.

Not everyone wants to go to games to force their opinions on other supporters ...... you seem to be very slow at picking that up.

As far as your continual pompous slur about supporters being apathetic or scared of appearing 'Mag like' you seem to ignore the many spontaneous protests over the years.

I was at the Wigan, Bradford and West Brom games when the supporters spontaneously decided the time was right to protest about Bruce, Poyet & di Canio .... were you there?

They couldn't have cared less about how they appeared and didn't need internet warriors telling them what to do.

It was just the right time, in their estimation, and they needed no encouragement.

You've decided you want a protest so, stop pounding away on here and just get on with it.

If it's the right thing to do people will join in, if not they won't but either way you'll have a definitive answer.

Whether you'll accept a 'no vote' is highly debatable.
