Benitez to Wistham .....

Ah yes, the excuse that covers any eventuality ..... "He desperately wanted to stay but the club just didn't back him enough."

Something that's absolutely impossible to disprove and so easy to trot out.
I'm not sure that's true Reiver. I mean, if Ashley lets Rafa spend only what he makes from player sales I'm sure we can all agree that he hasn't been sufficiently backed. If Newcastle spend £80m on players (I know, LOL, right?) I think we can agree that Rafa has been backed.

I don't think it's particularly controversial to suggest that if Ashley reneges on his promise, again, Benitez won't be judged harshly on Tyneside. Ashley has form for putting short term parsimony ahead of long term growth/ambition. A character flaw you may recognise and criticise in your own chairman?

@The Fish absolutely shitting his kegs at the thought of the fat fraud f***ing off
I'll be gutted if he leaves. Clear to everybody without red & white specs firmly welded to their face that he's a good manager and Newcastle are lucky to have him.

Kinnear, Pardew, Carver, McClaren...

What 'we' agree means absolutely nothing, if Benitez says £80m isn't enough, or less than promised, then that's the perfect excuse to walk.

An excuse that wouldn't hold much water with any but the most fervent Benitez fan. £80m is a huge sum of money and should we spend that, Benitez really doesn't have an excuse. To be honest, I think it would have to be obviously meagre spending to see Benitez walk.

Your position seems to imply that Benitez is desperate to get out of Newcastle and will use any excuse to expedite that. I don't think that's true, we spent nothing in January, despite promises from Ashley that we would, and Benitez is still here and talking about future plans.

Couldnt keep the mags up in a better position than DiCanio, Poyet, Advacat and Allardyve found us. Winning a league with Brighton and Huddersfield in hot pursuit as the nearest rivals (funny enough the mags once thought Man U were their rivals with their arrogance) with a transfer and wage bill dwarfing all competitors. Aye Rafael Beneathus is fcking great.

Spain is abroad!

although as said the only rumour I have heard is that if he goes Mancini will be coming in
they are thick as pigshit mate you are wasting your time.

Really ? Seen many a tweet from fans of other clubs who think otherwise mind although no doubt I've made this up because of my R&W specs

Mancini would be a good appointment I reckon. Strikes me as a genuine gentleman and, with all due respect, lifts West Ham by association.

I mean, that's how I like my morning Irony. Someone calling someone else thick in a message board post littered with spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, gaps in logic and what have you. Lovely stuff

Oh no, someone on twitter had a stupid opinion? Almost like they were fishing for attention?

I still like Slav, most of our fans do, I get the feeling Sullivan is not so keen though. He's had a lot to deal with this season. Needs a half decent finish though

I haven't dug into the rest but Allardyce had 30 games man

Oh and Aston Villa's spending this season is far beyond ours.

Why dont you go somewhere where people may give a shit what you think? What a sad fella coming on here fishing...have you not got something better to do with your time?

The Payet situation must have disrupted plans, and the harmony of the squad? You're only 3pts off 9th, if you kick on in the final run Bilic will surely be given more time and money to replace the missteps he made in the transfer window (Calleri/Zaza)?

yeah and teams traditionally struggle moving stadiums. We've also had more injuries than anyone except Sunderland this season, plus all the trouble at games and fuss around that can't have helped either

Bullshit proven? Revert to the old 'mag on a message board, what are you doing here? defence!
