Never going to happen (erase him from history), as much as they might hope. Might be a wrong un but as a player he murdered them and gave many on this board some of their best moments and memories following us (just thought football was worth mentioning, as it's on pure football and all that).

It does seem thst way. At graft they were all on about his latest failed appeal the second the news broke. I just shrugged my shoulders.

No cheap shots at all. You know fine well if it had been a Newcastle United player for example you wouldnt have people on here saying how harsh it was. Johnson is a nonce and what goes through peoples minds when they are typing his sentence was harsh is beyond me. Why do you care if a nonce gets 4 years or 6 years for example? Its mental man.

When you read through the thread, the usual few are saying that posters who think his sentence was OTT compared to others (who have done worse) are defending him by doing so. This of course isnt the case, and those people doing their best to shout others down know this really but are trying desperately to label people as something they are not.

Have a look at the OJ Simpson thread. He was sent down for thirty three years for basically telling people not to leave a room during a robbery. Are all those people who are saying they went OTT on him (as payback for literally getting away with murder) murderer defenders and sympathisers? Or are they simply taking a step back and comparing like for like and giving an opinion on a case?

What are you saying then, thay once anyone is convicted of a sex offence their sentence should be determined by a wheel of fortune type thing.
