Interestingly no mention so far of Norman Hunter breaking Bobby Kerr's leg in the first game at Roker - when we were on an 11 game unbeaten run from Kerr's debut, during which he scored 7 goals. Good as he was when we won the Cup, he was never as good again as he was in those first few games, especially after re-breaking his leg on his first comeback.

yea,if my memory serves me well,Hunter got away with that didn't he,i was at Bobby's comeback game against Ashington at portland Park when Ashinton's c/h Jack Herron tackled him and broke it again, all in all Kerr had a decent career seeing as broken legs aren't the easiest to come back from,as an aside, i fukn loved the wee fella, met him a few times and he was always brilliant

Was wondering how I was stood in Hull by meself.

:lol::lol:,great place to go to to get stood up mind

I was at Boothferry Park that day and witnessed what was the worst refereeing decision I have seen. Am I right in thinking that Ken Stokes didn't referee another match?

We woz robbed! When the ref sent off two of our players in the second half, and then gave a penalty in injury time because a Leeds player threw himself to the deck (like Revie:evil: told them to) you know it was a fix. There was no way Leeds wanted third replay. My Dad used words I'd never heard him say before.
