Who's still backing Moyes?

Both were dreadful but aye today Denayer probably did shade the shitness comp ever so slightly but then again are we playing him in the right position? Not an excuse for today's performance mind.

Cattermole and Kirchoff are bigger misses than Ndong for me but all three would be in our best midfield. But I really don't think there's too much between Ndong and Larsson.

Not bar the nine years, no. :)

Weird bringing up games months ago....cannot remember us going too defensive v Man City. I'm sure he brought Januzaj off the bench?

West Ham was poor I agree. That game was crying out for us to have Anichebe on the pitch but he stayed on the bench.

Moyes cannot win with his substitutions mind. Even when we beat Watcord he got a lot of criticism for bringing O'Shea on but we still won and kept clean sheet.

It's on the back of today and Burnley when in both games we never looked like scoring but he didn't try to make something of it. In the case of Burnley he brought O'Shea on as opposed to a more atttaxking option.

He's staying fair enough.

I just wish he's man up and stop moaning about everything. He's our figure head and he's depressing in every news conference and post match interview. He oversaw the summer transfers, he picks the team, he does the training. Take some responsibility ffs too many excuses for me.

We all know Moyes has had a terrible run with the injuries we have had but that is no excuse for sitting on the bench with his head in his hands and not doing anything to try and change a losing position.
Can any one honestly say that Moyes earned his money today anymore than the shite he had on the field .
I sympathise with him but doing nothing was inexcusable.
Not in favour of constant change but hard to back him on today's performance.

Again, disagree. He was asked a question and he answered it. What do you think the reaction would have been if he'd said "no, we'll be mid table, no problem"?
You could interpret his response as a challenge to the players. It always amazes me how his man management and tactics are called into question when we lose, but no-one says a word when we win.

If he has such bad man management skills, why did Pienaar, McNair, Love, Anichebe and Januzaj agree to sign for him again?

Perhaps nobody else wanted them . Out of all of them only Anichebe is worth his place but is injury prone, still not bad on a free. Less said about the legless Piennar the better.

Burnley were all over us second half. Maybe needed to get JOS on to make sure we didn't lose?

Oversaw the summer transfers......it was almost August when he came in and we barely had a squad. We had to rush around getting loads of players on a low budget.

Also I wouldn't say he's depressing.

I am.

He is an experienced premier league manager who knows what he's doing. He was at Everton for 11 years and rarely had them out the top 8 whilst spending little money. He needs time to get it right.

How many managers do we need to go through for people to realise the owner is the problem?

Think the criticism Moyes gets is way over the top. People complaining he never brought any subs on today but how many of these young players have most fans actually seen play live? Not many watch our u23 games. Maybe Moyes has watched and knows they wouldn't have made a difference?

We lost today because Stoke have a better team. Other than Defoe, how many of our starting 11 would have got in theirs today? None.
We have to, and I'd sooner we did as it would seem Uncle Ellis isn't changing manager mid-season this year.

What's this "has the worst squad" line? Has a goalkeeper rated at 20m, a CB worth 18m, one of the best strikers in the league and a LB wanted by better clubs in January. Doesn't sound like a worse squad than the one that had Collins, Leadbitter, Whitehead, Wallace and Murphy.

On top of that he was his job to improve the squad. He bought an 8m CB and two CM's worth 19m and all 3 aren't better than O'Shea or Larsson.
Khazri is a good player and would improve any of our relegation rivals, but he can't get a game at Sunderland.
He managed to create the worst atmosphere in ages, depressing to even see his face.

How many excuses does Moyes get? Can someone point out one single good thing he did or why he should stay long term except the "we can't keep changing managers" or "Short won't sack him because he has a good long contract"?

I appreciate our financial plight and injuries havent helped but i dont see what hes trying to do? Yesterday he gave up, that is unacceptable from a player never mind a Manager he should go.

I was never with him from the moment he arrived. I doubted him then and I still do. I did not think he wasn't going to be like all the others. It has happened so many times before in the past. Appointing managers who just seem to have a nack of making us worse. Why was it going to be any different now?

I honestly still don't know what to think of him.

Part of me thinks he's been dealt a terrible hand and he's done well with the shit he's got.

On the other hand, games like yesterday and Burnley make me wonder just what on earth he's thinking at times.

Plus his transfer dealings leaving a lot to be desired

McNair & love dear me

He rimnds me of McCarthy

Given a million quid & blowing on shite

Davies & Nosworthy

I am. We had a good little run before Christmas. He's been hit by an injury ravaged and quite frankly piss poor squad, which is now missing 4 key players. He's has to put up with the club publicly saying he's getting fuck all, which has turned players heads and also let him down as he was clearly promised more as were at least 3 previous managers. And he's been strangled by a transfer policy from the top which has meant only buying players available on HP whilst his first and probably 5th targets have been allowed to go elsewhere.

People can moan he doesn't play Kahzri but he's been fat and shite. Lens was a cock who thought he was better than us. The German is clearly fucked and Kone went in a huff.

I blame the same person I've blamed for the last few years, the only constant in all of this. But aye, it can't be his fault he's made constantly shite decisions, stuck to a Shite transfer model and yes, made the club debt ridden to HIMSELF!

Moyes, will do as well with us as he did with Everton. If he is given the time and the support from the current chairman or whoever replaces him. We need to stick with him. Hope we do.
