Who's still backing Moyes?

Hes too defeatist for me and it rubs off on your environment.

Yes we are shit but as soon as he said "Were in a relegation battle" before a ball is kicked, you are giving the players an excuse straight away. Then the kids might not be good enough at this level but when you are 2 down and creating nowt, to say to those lads, sorry but even though this team is shit, I still wouldnt give you 10 minutes, what sort of that message does that send out?
Disagree with this 100% - he called it how it was. He didn't encourage the players to lose games and play shit, he saw the squad for what it was

I do sort of agree but he's spent over 20 million still.
I think the two from Man United will prove to be decent acquisitions and for the price, not bad either way. Not a popular opinion on here but Love shows signs of being a good full back once he gains experience. He is learning in a terrible environment.

N'dong doesn't look any thing special thus far but again, young and in a dreadful set up.

I can't think of anything positive to say about Papy. He is rancid.

What point you trying to make?

Swansea was shit, today was shit and no doubt there'll be more shit games before the season ends. Our squad is poor. But I believe in the manager.

Very admirable of you but I don't believe the squad is playing to the best of its ability. I also don't believe we play our best available 11 week in week out and I also think the subs he makes a largely awful.

He should never have said it, that told the players he thinks they're shit, I think the one of the problems at the minute is he cant motivate the players, he's got bad man management skills imo.

He makes O'Neil look like José

I don't think it matters who we get tbh they will end up being dog shit.

The "we're in a relegation battle" is just being realistic. If we had a more ambitious owner I doubt Moyes would be staying stuff like that.

And it might sound old fashioned but Stoke are a big, physical team so not sure any of our young players would have made a difference today.

Again I agree with all your points on those players with the exception of Love but none are what we needed and you've more or less said so yourself.

I am.

He is an experienced premier league manager who knows what he's doing. He was at Everton for 11 years and rarely had them out the top 8 whilst spending little money. He needs time to get it right.

How many managers do we need to go through for people to realise the owner is the problem?

Think the criticism Moyes gets is way over the top. People complaining he never brought any subs on today but how many of these young players have most fans actually seen play live? Not many watch our u23 games. Maybe Moyes has watched and knows they wouldn't have made a difference?

We lost today because Stoke have a better team. Other than Defoe, how many of our starting 11 would have got in theirs today? None.
I am backing him, it's that f***ing wanker of an owner who's the f***ing problem.

I wanted him gone after 10 games, our form in the second 10 games is top 10, on that basis despite some shit performances he is moving us forward and if Im honest you could put Brian Clough in charge of 12 fit players, some of whom would certainly not be first choice and they wouldnt be winning anymore regularly.

He should never have said it, that told the players he thinks they're shit, I think the one of the problems at the minute is he cant motivate the players, he's got bad man management skills imo.
Again, disagree. He was asked a question and he answered it. What do you think the reaction would have been if he'd said "no, we'll be mid table, no problem"?
You could interpret his response as a challenge to the players. It always amazes me how his man management and tactics are called into question when we lose, but no-one says a word when we win.

If he has such bad man management skills, why did Pienaar, McNair, Love, Anichebe and Januzaj agree to sign for him again?

I think this squad is where you'd expect it to be in the table, given our injuries its a surprise we're not bottom.

Awful subs? Allardyce got exactly the same criticism weirdly. Our bench is usually so poor there is nout worth bringing on.

Correct.

Ive seen enough to think its worth persevering with him under new ownership. I would have stuck with Poyet and Paolo too mind.

Until the ownership changes we could have a f***ing Frankensteins monster with Peps head, Alex Fergusons Body, Wengers arms, and Mourinhos legs and still be bottom feeders.
