Hes the big reason the club and SAFC Museum aren't working together.
Always against the project.
Why would he be against that?

What do you expect? You are employed by the club?Quinny had been sayin 30,000 were sold and it was nowhere near that. 17,000 were sold at the time.
Got taken into the office and boss said "are you rubberface"Then showed me all my quotes on A4 piece of paper.
Don't I know it! I got a warning at work about revealing on here how many season tickets were actually sold one pre season. Came into work one morning and all my quotes off here from the night before were printed off and shown to me. Sad really.
sorry the pc crashed. somehow the mail website does that.
you give out sensitive information about a company that your employer does work for and you complain. think its you who should get a lifeGet a life.
"Are you rubberface?"Nah I work for a print finishing company. We used to do the all the direct debit forms etc that used to go into season ticket packages. Company we done work for had connections with the club and their rep came into factory with all my quotes next morning and said the club had bollocked them after reading my comments the night before.

I'd get sacked for similar
Its a knock on effectI still don't follow the logic at all. Why should it be down to a sporting club to take responsibility for trying to promote the local economy? If there are spin off benefits from the football club doing well, great. But how many other private businesses would be expected to take into account the impact of their decisions on the local economy. The core business is football. That is what the football club needs to get right. That's what the club has seemed to lose sight of in recent years, pissing around with Nelson Mandela museums and concerts while the debt spirals and performances on the pitch stagnate.
And that's before you get into considerations like how much a Beyoncé concert actually benefits the local economy, or how many of the club's fans would consider themselves part of the Sunderland economy, etc.
Why would he be against that?
Because it's summit the club should've done decades ago......which tbh isn't the last few regimes fault.
SAFC as a club have always been dead set against it for decades for some reason. It's thought because theyve got fuck all to put in it. But Theres photos of the boardroom throughout its history years ago that are packed with trophies that have disappeared over the years. Stuff presented on forrin tours etc.
The subjects been mentioned hundreds of times since The Northern Arts Centre Exhibition (Stockton Rd) in the early 80s which broke that institutions attendance figures. They don't even own a complete set of programmes or match shirts!
Hopefully the next owners or even the current one will see fit to acquire a building and get stuff loaned in from the lads behind the recent one and others. I doubt those beautiful trophies will ever turn up though.
ive no idea if you are right or not but you maybe and sounds logicalThe leadership at the club has been juvenile for years, people out of their depth on massive wages acting like school kids with no accountability.... ultimately found out by the AJ incident and the arrival of Bain
