it was the cafe owned by the club which opened down roker blockyard to big publicity and folded, the scullery is in the building now, a total farce from day 1..GTH was standing arms folded on opening day wearing a cap sleeved t shirt looking like someone out of the Rubettes

There'll be loads of apologists for him saying that 'we don't know what he does, though', like they did with Short and Byrne before the extent of their car crash management became clear.

I know he is the commercial director. I know that our retail and commercial income is £2m a year. I know that this is the league table of commercial income in the Premier League for the 2014/15 season (the last year for which all clubs have filed accounts).

Was the previous lad, wasn't it? Anyway, from my experience of dealing with SJM (booking agents/promoters) they actually get in touch with you and run the show from top to bottom.

Just been named on the Executive Board of Sunderland BID (along with others). The previous Chief Executive has just been made redundant. It wouldn't surprise me to see Gary as his successor.

He's been on that board for a couple of years hasn't he?
