Howard the Duck
Striker
How long has he been Commercial director. Because by my reckoning, the concert side of things started to go downhill once he took up the role.

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like your hair blowing in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
Until the gel set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did
Not a finance fella. Just took my brothers word. Said they were making good profit and sustainable.
No idea what beach hut is mate.
I don't know where they get all of their figures from but a lot of our commercial revenue, the concerts at least, is recognised in a seperate company's accounts. There'll be loads of apologists for him saying that 'we don't know what he does, though', like they did with Short and Byrne before the extent of their car crash management became clear.
I know he is the commercial director. I know that our retail and commercial income is £2m a year. I know that this is the league table of commercial income in the Premier League for the 2014/15 season (the last year for which all clubs have filed accounts).
Manchester United - £197m
Manchester City - £173m
Liverpool - £116m
Chelsea - £113m
Arsenal - £79m
Tottenham - £60m
Newcastle - £25m
Aston Villa - £19m
Everton - £16m
West Ham - £15m
Swansea - £11m
Southampton - £10m
West Brom - £8m
QPR - £7m
Stoke City - £6m
Crystal Palace - £5m
Burnley - £3m
Leicester - £2.9m
Sunderland - £2m
The concerts were his baby. He saw them introduced. I'm not sure how your reckoning works.
He's been on that board for a couple of years hasn't he?Just been named on the Executive Board of Sunderland BID (along with others). The previous Chief Executive has just been made redundant. It wouldn't surprise me to see Gary as his successor.
Said in sombre rest in peace tone. I'm with you. I'm heartbrokenGoodbye Gary the Hair
Since he became CD they have declined in quality and quantity. He started them. Might not have been Commercial Director at that point, but they were his baby.
So has he been sacked or has he moved because he's got a better offer?
Myself and @TradingPlaces have been saying this for months.
As did MADBOB all of us got told we were chatting shit.
Today is a good day mate.![]()
One thing we can agree on is that Gary the hair is a mug.
Wembley head of eventsThe scriptures of MADBOB speak of Wembley... Let us hope he's not moved on to manage the concerts there
