Yes, because even with the white text I don't think it should be mentioned, because it's not relevant.

Of course it is bad news for the club, but it doesn't amount to them 'keeping on giving'. The full use of that phrase is 'the gift that keeps on giving' - do you think the sex abuse stuff at Newcastle is a gift?

It clearly is completely different to all the other stuff you mention.

I honestly don't think that was the intention here. Now and again why don't you just say nothing? What happens when the op posts you jump in with your moral high ground stance, then thread gets derailed by the two of you bickering. That then means the rest of us have to sit and watch. Just go along with it, or back off.
 
I'm glad that the OP has ascertained that while (by his white text) child abuse isn't funny, racism still is.
