I am from Shields and where's the problem with being a SAFC fan and a Shields fan?
If you find it boring don't open the thread and spam it by complaining.
Also why should all the threads be merged?
Will every SAFC one now be merged in to one and will every scum one get the same treatment.
This is a football board where we talk about football so mods pack in bowing to a few whiners and let this place just work.
 
Just hearing yesterday that Whitby Town could face some financial trouble.

Top of their league at the moment but they might have to have a couple of phone masts removed from their ground.

Apparently they receive 14k a year for having them there & that 14k could be the real world real life difference between success & failure.

You don't get stories like this in the top flite...
 
Any news on norton? i know their resignation from the league cant be accepted till the next league management meeting in early december i heard the players were hopeful somebody may step in and take over, also looking forward to saturday a new ground to tick off watching the lawyers, stockton town away looks similer set up to consetts new ground

Norton and Stockton Ancients have resigned from the Northern League. Good club with lots of youth sides and decent ladies team and a history stretching back to the old Stockton FC days. The chairman has decided to stop funding them so that's it if nobody can be found to step in. Players prepared to see out the season for nothing, but resignation still sent in.

This is why I ask people to go and support their local NL club if they can. Even a fiver three or four times a season can make the difference yet it seems everyone wants to pump more money into the one side that does not even need it. Next time there is an international break go and watch Ryhope or Sunderland RCA.

The mags are our direct rivals.

This is predominantly an SAFC forum.

Other clubs, are mostly prem clubs fans on here.

It's practically all linked to who we play against.

Madness letting him go. Gaz is well the wrong side of 30 and although is chipping in with goals is nowhere near as fluent as previous seasons.
Devlin is a canny player. Shields loss is Benfields gain.
