Craft Beer

Fuckin hell the OP talkin about craft beers, he'll probably be extollin the virtues of port & lemon next.
In my day we drank a gallon of Double Maxim on a Frida neet, and that was just before siven o' clock.

Live in Leeds now and I always go in the north brewery pubs pubs when I'm out, mainly the cross keys as I live next to it but I have been to the brewery tap a few times. I prefer Northern Monk as a brewery tap but I like the north beers.

Red can with SPTK on it?

I work just down the canal from Holbeck way, used to go in Cross Keys so much a couple of years back that we had a table they'd clear for us after graft. I like Northern Monk as a venue as well, but think their beers all taste pretty samey. They are good but not much variety in the different IPAs/Pales.

Have you been in The Brunswick on North Street yet? My mates own it, it's a really nice little bar. Bit away from everything else, but worth a dodge up.

I tend to only drink their session IPA when I go in, I just like the refectory and the beer garden.

Cross Keys is class and their prototype pale ale is only £3 a pint, my favourite pub in Leeds.

I've not been in the brunswick yet, I'll give it a go next time I'm up that way.

Yes, and I'm now hating the fact I missed 8. The pub does its own beer and he was saying he was at the same festival as Cloudwater with their v8 and how nobody else could sell their beer because of them
Cloudwater seem to have the market wrapped round their finger at the minute, great seasonal collection and decent prices for ABV.
Thornbridge do some belters as well, though they've dropped the size of the bottles from 500 ml to 330 ml and kept the same price :(

Not sure if my two purchases today count as craft beer but today I visited my local beer specialist and bought a couple of bottles to sample tonight

One bottle of Floris Ninkeberry which is a Belgian fruit beer with mango, apricot, peach and passionfruit

One bottle of Brewdog's Ace of Equinox.

Looking forward to these. Went in to buy some Mongozo banana beer but they had sold out.

I had a bottle of this last night:

It tasted like Elderflower. Couldn't work out whether I hated it or enjoyed it.

Currently in Colorado with work and honestly this is the craft beer capital of the world. There are more microbreweries here per head of population than anywhere. The choice is amazing, every bar you go in seems to have at least 30 brews on tap, nearly all from local brewers. Theres also brewhop tours, pay $15 a a little trolley bus will take you from one microbrewery to another all day and night to sample the beers untill you fall over.
Theres a fair bit of overly fruity pap, but there are also some outstanding brews.
No one out here is drinking Bud, Coors, Miller or any of that shite, dont even see the pumps in most places.
