There's a difference between unfancied players and players who simply aren't good enough. If any of that lot were good enough for the premier league, they'd be playing in the premier league. The fact that no top flight club wanted them tells you that.
The standard of football on display at Leeds today is absolute dross.

Following that train of thought, the fact that no other premier league club wanted any of our players also speaks volumes

7 of the players who started today were relegated with us last season. Apart from that, completely different.

8 of the players who started in the 5-1 were relegated with us in 2008-09, so it's more or less the same tbf.

In theory that team was even worse then as it had proven itself not good enough for the prem. Don't get your logic here.

So you're saying not one player currently playing in the Championship will be able to cut the mustard in the Premier League? Rightio mate.
