I've got no doubt the Mags will be promoted but if you compare the teams today neither look premier league standard. I still think it will be interesting to see how they get rid of the players on 5 year contracts and relatively big wages to replace them with decent Premier League players.

They won't need to get rid unfortunately. I think that Rafa will want to keep his well-drilled squad and look to make a couple of quality additions. There'll be fringe players that leave but in essence a well balanced team with competition for places will be fine for them next year. We need to drop this pretense that none of them will be good enough
