No chance he'll leave Burnley, he's finally got their owners to spend some cash and he's supposed to be all about integrity. He's a good manager, but his Burnley side last season were almost unwatchable. Think Portugal from Uefa 2016 and that's him in a nutshell! They came to Derby and did nowt for 90 minutes, total Lockout 0-0 then got right under our skin at Burnley and creamed us 4-1. I've a grudging respect for the man but he's perfectly suited to BurnleyI reckon there's zero chance of Dyche leaving Burnley for us.....the TV money has dramatically narrowed the difference between clubs. I'd imagine Burnley could easily outspend us this summer if they wished and if they're forced to sell Keane they could have up to £60m to invest without causing any problems with debt or FFP.
We had two ex Burnley managers in my time, the first took us down TWICE, the second just the once . Is Short after a hat trick.that's a compliment tho mate

Nobody would dream of leaving a Premier League club to manage Scotland. As someone already said on here, knowing our luck, we'll appoint moyes and a season down the line Scotland will want him.![]()
David Moyes has to be our new manager, we'll never get a better chance to appoint him. He's the glaringly obvious outstanding candidate.
Ha way man mate he's managing Burnley. It's hardly disgraceful management to get relegated with them.Because the relegation happened in the Premier League, the two promotions were from the Championship. The Premier League sorts out the wheat from the chaff. If I remember correctly Moyse flirted with relegation in his early days but survived. We need the finished article not another rookie learner. Let him learn elsewhere. If it happens it shows a total lack of ambition by the club
MM did the same here on a lot less, that didn't make him a Premiership manager.
No they wouldnt. . I know loads of people who wouldnt if theyd only been there five minutes or if it meant leaving their employers in the shite and heading to a direct competitor. Act honourably and the (or similar) offer may come round again. But surely everyone in the world would leave a job for a better, higher paid one so in your would going by your theory yes they are.

Theres a time and place to walk out on a football job and its at the end of the season not the start of one. Other clubs higher up the food chain note this stuff.
Relegated is the operative word, he has not had one sucessful season in the top league. He is therefore unproven and another massive gamble. Why do we keep on doing it?Ha way man mate he's managing Burnley. It's hardly disgraceful management to get relegated with them.

Nah. You wouldn't
Of course he's a gamble but he's got a good track record to back up why he's worth taking a chance on. You can get big name managers who fail (O Neill, Mcmenemy), you can get gambles that pay off (Keane), it's all a gamble really, look at Villas Boas at Spurs, I think we can take a chance on someone a lot worse than Dyche. At least he'd be coming here on a high, Moyes has been sacked from his last 2 jobs.Relegated is the operative word, he has not had one sucessful season in the top league. Id prefer moyes too but dyche has done enough to at least be looked at.Decent manager but not what we need at the minute. I shouldn't put all my eggs in one basket but it's Moyes all the way for me. Can't think of anyone that comes close who we could get.
