'Gini' sold by the scum?

Examples of Wijnaldum being referred to as 'Gini' prior to the Norwich game? Unless the link doesn't work as it is tied to a logged in user?

Maybe these will work?

Fair enough, I only noticed it for the first time after the Norwich game.

Although it seems other people, after those posts, are still calling him Winjaldum.

I presume the apology to The Fish is forthcoming. What is the second sentence about btw? Are we supposed to all call him 'Gini' to back up your point forever until the end of time?

Apology?

What's that for?

As for your second point, it was merely a passing observation ....... believe it or not I couldn't care less what you call him.

I think he is a good player that just was unlucky and landed at a shite club with a shite manager. Will probably do well elsewhere

Good point mate ........ it must've been soul destroying ending up with the likes of Tufty, Taylor & Colback

He has bags of ability, wouldn't be surprised if he scored 10+ regularly in the PL for someone else. Newcastle ruined him by sticking Shelvey in there, at which point they pretty much gave up on play going through their three best attackers (Mitrovic, Perez, Wijnaldum) and instead focused on playing out to the flanks. It worked a bit with Townsend on an individual level, but I'd say they screwed up massively in terms of actually winning games.

Would also say that Mitrovic is a potentially useful player for them, but Beneathus was playing him up front when Shelvey was banging these long balls up past him as if he was Martial or Owen in his prime. Tactical genius that he is, Rfa only realised too late that he was asking too much of a giant plank of aggression to outrun PL defenders.

Let us never forget that Beneathus also played Sissoko at left back continuously and made him captain, despite no evidence that he was able to do either job.

They're going to need that airport to play in midfield if they want to get promoted.

If true?

:lol::lol::lol:

Love this bit...

The “everything is possible” with the Spaniard at the helm and hopes Benitez can lead the Magpies back into the Premier League’s top eight where they belong.

Well please point that out and I'll happily apologise

It seems a strange course of action to discuss it if you 'couldn't care less' as you protest. Do you often spend time on activity you couldn't care less about? Odd behaviour.

It's not just them, it starts at the very top and sifts down and luckily for us could carry on for quite some time. If wijnaldum had been at a club like Norwich and had still gone down I reckon we might have gone for him. He would be good in front of mvila and Jan

The 'apology' was nothing to do with what 'Gini' is called and when ..... you're just jumping in without thinking.

I don't care at all, I'm just passing time winding up Mags, on a Sunderland board, with the minimum of effort.

To repeat, I don't care what you call him .......... let me ask you this, do you?

At the risk of getting endless shit I think Wijnaldum with Jan and M'Vila behind him would fit perfectly. They were unbalanced almost all of the season with too many attacking midfielders all out of sync. It cost them goals conceded and made them look lost.
