'Gini' sold by the scum?

This post is the first one in which you mention Gini.

Do you have ADHD? That's not a criticism, it just seems you can't focus on one subject at a time.

The discussion, aided by you, had moved well on from that ......... I was addressing a specific point.

You seem to have some problem with other people digressing yet you do it constantly.

Your first post mentioned Sunderland supporters, your second was all about Sunderland supporters

I'm not so confident about that. If Newcastle get off to a flying start and the points are mounting up, with promotion looking guaranteed, then I think it would come down to personal aspects such as getting on with the manager and team mates, whether or not he likes the area etc. It also depends on who, if anyone, comes looking for him. I doubt if he would move to Sunderland or Middlesbrough as either of them could be relegated next season and that really would kill his career.
Fuck off and enjoy the Championship .

£50 says they will get promoted?

So you've u-turned from "I 100% guarantee they'll come straight back up" to "I bet at even odds they'll come back up because I think there's around a 50/50 chance of it happening or not so that makes an evens bet a fair one"?

Surely if you're so certain they'll be promoted back to the Prem immediately then the bet should be one sided?

I.E. If Newcastle don't get promoted then you give £50 to charity, but if they do, then @Wierd Valley Mackem shouldn't have to give anything, because all he's saying is that it's not 100% guaranteed whereas you're saying it is.

WVM said they won't so I said bet to charity. I will be betting on it because it is nailed on.

I think you will be much more secure, but I don't think you'll shrug off your reputation for being a relegation threatened side for at least another season.
Fantastic, especially when you have just said the below quote. Worry about your own'championship club' rather than our 'relelgation threatened side'

I wouldn't let us bother you mate, you stayed up, you should focus on what's good about your club, rather than the trials and tribulations of my own?

No, he said it's not 100% guaranteed that they will, which is true.

If you think it's 100% guaranteed, then you shouldn't need @Wierd Valley Mackem or anyone else to bet against you, you should just say you'll give the £50 to charity if it doesn't happen. Or are you not 100% certain now?

I think yous had a bit more bite in your team last time. Your Team were gutless this season (even the most biased Mag has to have seen that) they hd talent but when the chips were down they had no fight in them. You may be right though Benitez may get something out of them he failed to get this year? A good start you probably will walk it lose a few who knows?

I think it's harsh to blame Benitez for the relegation but I understand why some Sunderland fans are eager to do so. What I saw in the final 10 games was certainly more committed from the players than I'd previously seen. But it's obvious that Rafa wasn't going to know what tactics to employ, his starting 11 and how to manage their disparate egos the minute he joined.

It was really only Villa that I would point out as a problem, but much of that was forwards lacking confidence, rather than a tactical failure, we certainly weren't set up to defend as is the pervading wisdom on here.

I can promise you we had no cojones when we were relegated last time, when mercenary ***** like Owen, Duff, Viduka and Martins were given two barrels by Smith, Harper and Nolan after the loss at Leyton nobody was surprised they buggered off instead of standing up to be counted. Quite surprised Colo, jonas and Enrique hung around though. That's similar to how I see it going this time. We'll lose some "big names" but we'll get decent money for them, and we'll keep a good core. Confident we'll come back up first time of asking.

This is what I mean, you've at least two trains of thought here. The first seems to be accusing me of derailing a conversation and the second (I can only presume) is accusing me of bringing the subject of Sunderland supporters into the conversation. Neither of which are true. But that's not your aim, is it. Your aim seems to be trying to create some kind of conflict with a Newcastle fan. Again, I understand why, but I'm pretty bored of your particular brand of antagonism.

People on here deluding themselves the mags won't go up. I'm putting a lot on them going up tbh.

I'm not worried about it, nor riled up, which was my point about your peer Reiver. It's entirely possible to have a discussion about clubs without needing to denigrate them.

I don't think I've been rude or particularly partisan in my assessment of your club. Do you think it's fair to say that the majority of respondents I've dealt with could claim the same?

You think far too much ....... which isn't really your strong point, plus it's incredibly boring.

You do precisely what you accuse others of doing and play the amateur psychiatrist way too much.

You always launch into it when you can't answer a question which is exactly what you've just done yet again.

You're becoming a bit of a joke.

I don't think anyone thinks the mags don't have a good chance of coming straight back up, but if it was 100% guaranteed to happen then the bookies wouldn't be taking bets on it would they?

All @Wierd Valley Mackem was saying was that there's no guarantee it'll happen, not that they definitely 100% won't manage it.

It's all well and good saying you're willing to put your money where your mouth is, but let's make sure we're clear about where everyone's mouth is first.

Who's put 20p in you

You didn't ask a question in the post I quoted.

Gosh, that's embarrassing for you.

I'm not sure that I am guilty of that which I accuse you, by the way.

Do you think that "our peer", Reiver, might be on the correct board for his views? He likes Sunderland, dislikes Newcastle and posts on a SUNDERLAND board. If you are looking for people to be respectful in discussion about Newcastle don't you think you'd be better joining any other team's forum other than Sunderland? It really doesn't take a couple of ha'penny's to rub together to work this one out now does it?
