Sorry to hear that mate, it's an awful thing and at some point all of us have or will have known someone effected by Cancer, why they would start bringing that up when this is essentially just a joke is beyond me.
The plane banner is taking the piss a bit but at the end of the day it's quite witty and not really offensive at all they should just take it on the chin. They know they would be doing what they could to wind us up if the situation was reversed, just look at the comments by some of them on the facebook pages that have been posted on here.

it's a lass runs it called Samantha Rees. I know her from the charity team I played for with mags and our lot. I managed the side one game and she claimed her son had trials with Hartlepool, the fat little shite was abysmal, I pulled him off after 10 mins. Anyway after the 0-1 in December 2014, she took to Facebook to claim:
- We pissed on Bobby's statue
- We'd stabbed a teenage fan
- We'd slapped her as she got out of her car, and spat at her young children
She posted this all over Facebook as total truth and many mags believed her. When I pulled her up on it, like you I was banned.
She's a total heedcase.

according to @Keith S30S the last time a plane was organised to fly over sjp they pilot made the final call about when he flew over and did so just before/after the 17th minute even though he'd been told not to do so.
the bloke who runs the air sign company said in his interview with the chronicle yesterday that he's been told to fly over between the 15th and 30th minute...
it's obvious that some mags (rightly or wrongly) would want to try to use this to say that "we" are being disrespectful or antagonistic to the whole MH17 clapping bollocks.
have the bantz if you like but send the plane over during the second half so it's clear the 2 things are entirely separate.

The thing with flying a plane, particularly a small single engined one, is you have the weather to consider, cloud coverage, wind etc.
Their main aim will be to fly over while the match is on avoiding half time, we tried to avoid the 17th minute last time because it was only 6 months since the tragedy but they still tried to claim we were mocking MH17.
We should aim to avoid it but to be honest it's totally irrelevant to what we are doing here.

'Auf weidersehn prem' is a bit of fun - it's not aggressive or owt, like the skunks peodophile shite.
The chronicle quoting fans on here saying they're embarrassed about it makes us sound like a bunch of Fannie's. If you can't take the piss in a bit of light hearted banter against your dearest neighbours, when you have sent them down, then I don't know what this world is coming to.
The last plane was excellent, and I'll be chuckling when i see this one. The mags I know will take it on the chin and find it amusing aswell, hoping that they can do something similar in the future to us.

The mags only love banter when dishing it out and that's the issue here,they are getting themselves in a tiz like a 3yr old for no reason the stupid bastards. If the roles where reversed yeah it'd be a kick in the knackers but I know I'd find it funny. Like I found the we'll meet again stuff funny years ago. What bloke,what's happened like?
Notice they hand pick the few negative comments to print and totally ignore the majority of them which are in favour of it. As you say its only a daft laugh, the message is funny and not insulting at all. Bet if we ever go down and they get their revenge it will be much more vindictive than what we are doing.
