Anyone who adds to the total now is either donating directly to the SAFC Foundation or chipping in a bit to the cost of the plane or a bit of both or 60/40 etc. Basically it's up to them whatever they think they are doing with the money.

As I said earlier, would someone be able to come on here and just start a thread asking for donation and get anywhere near what it costs for a plane? Would anyone have even bothered creating a thread to ask? The answer I reckon would be no they wouldn't. So this daft obsessed 'gimmick' is actually now getting money for the Foundation and I think it's near to £100 already! :cool:

It would be f***ing class if we could get this to £1000 by Sunday so that this will also be in th media etc so haway lads n lasses get this to £1000 for the Foundation Of Light! ;)

To be fair if the plane money gets achieved (looking likely) and any excess goes to the Foundation or similar, then I'll gladly chuck a tenner in for good causes, win-win and all that!

It's been achieved :cool: and it's got to be over £100 already for the good causes. As I said earlier, people can now give and they can either be giving towards the plane or charity or a bit of both in whatever portion as the money is there now in both ;)

I'm busy fannying on trying to make a thermometer chart with a £1000 target (though @cheeses of nazereth would knock one up in minutes I bet!). I reckon the SMB will get £1000 before Sunday and it would be canny if we did and it gets a mention in the media that we aren't just obsessed ;)
 
I know it's already been decided that left overs will go to charity, but it would have been nice to spend some of the money on something permanent - pro-Sunderland flags and banners - try and carry the momentum and atmosphere of the last half a dozen game into the new season.
 
Just had a reply of the bloke who said he is flying in Belfast today so will sort the final details out later but confirmed everything will be alright to fly over sid james' on sunday

Had originally been intended to go to the Foundation but quite a few suggestions coming though, still likely to go to the Foundation subject to the SMB approving
