Fair enough, but it's understandable that someone might see a better use for £1000.They've taken the piss out of us for years now its our turn to get them back.
Charities that get millions of pounds and directors get huge % of? Not for me, a local one aye, not a big one.Fair enough, but it's understandable that someone might see a better use for £1000.
i'll second that...Sorry to be a killjoy, but while I loved it the first time round, I'm not really on board with doing it again. Fair play to those who are though, but it's just not for me
Agreed. A direct payment of £1000 straight to the account of a local community project would be my preference too.Charities that get millions of pounds and directors get huge % of? Not for me, a local one aye, not a big one.

And it would still be an act of celebration/gloating about our survival!![]()
obsessed is the phrase you're looking for i believe...yea I agree, it's been done before, fairly recently. It's just going to fuel their belief that we care more about them than we do about our own club.
So feel free to donate to a local charity no-ones stopping you.Agreed. A direct payment of £1000 straight to the account of a local community project would be my preference too.

U pick. No FTM or SAFC....surprise us.Woul it be better to have a poll on here to decide what it says or have 1 of the mods to choose the best and keep it a secret for the element of suprise

I'm not being precious about it, only supporting a previous poster who was criticised for suggesting a charitable donation. It was a good idea.So feel free to donate to a local charity no-ones stopping you.
Anyone started a "not in my name" thread yet?

Aye, came across as a bite, sorry.I'm not being precious about it, only supporting a previous poster who was criticised for suggesting a charitable donation. It was a good idea.

makes it look like we're enjoying them going down more than we're enjoying us staying up. Small time.
and I donated to the first one. Good luck though lads, just not for me.
exactly this. It's a good idea but it's ridiculous to suggest that because people want to donate to this they should/would want to donate to a charity.
I donate to charities of my choosing throughout the year but this is about chipping in for a plane to fly over St James while the Mags are playing Spurs live on Sky Sports.
It's about us having a bit of a laugh at their expense.
