Give over, you're usually full of our statsI don't because I'm not a Mag or a geek .......... I'm sure you have all the facts about your club or could Google it in seconds.
OK then, if Benitez goes and Nigel Pearson gets the job, he'll get slated after the first bad result.I think you do and it's been omitted because it doesn't back up your point.
The same Chris Hughton who is massively respected by us?
...... is crystallising.
Bit by bit, thanks to the likes of Thewliss and the rest of the media, the myth is being carved in stone that 'if only Rafa had come in a month earlier' they would've avoided relegation and would now be starting the march to glory ...... well it's bollocks.
Under McClaren the cry was always 'loads of quality, just need a little organisation', I saw it posted on here dozens of times.
When Benitez was appointed he repeated that 'fact' and pointed out why they would stay up. "We need to give the players confidence. I know we have ability,” he says, "I’m here because I believe we’re good enough to stay in the Premier League.”
He was given huge wages and an open hand to do whatever it took to save the club from relegation.
He said he could do the job, with that squad, in the time he had.
Tufty was derided for insisting they were improving ......... Newcastle were rubbish against Villa but it isn't the fault of the latest Messiah, no sir.
In reality, whatever the claims that he's 'tightened up the defence' or 'instilled a new ethic' they're still shite.
The facts, rather than the fiction, are that since he arrived Newcastle have failed against Sunderland, Norwich & Villa. The new improved defence conceded 8 goals in the 3 away games before Villa and they only managed 3 on target shots at Villa Park ........ Villa had conceded an average of 3 goals in the 5 previous games.
In a game Newcastle simply had to win, Benitez got the tactics, selection and substitutions wrong.
So now Ashley has to take the blame, as usual, because King Rafa was 'brought in too late'.
I truly hope he stays, as everyone seems to be praying for, and makes a complete fuck up as he's done so far.
Spot on. You can also add the failure to play the best passer of the ball they have in Shelvey, presumably because of an issue going back to Liverpool.

And a place on the board!Leave it man, let him have a nice 4 year contract, he deserves it.
They would, let's hope they don't go and get him! I reckon Rafa will go off and manage the Spanish national team given half the chance. They're really buying in to the "big name manager" bullshit, had they employed say, Nigel Pearson & had identical results they'd want him sacked by the weekend. Personally think they'd be far better off with the latter in the Championship.
Give over, you're usually full of our stats
All clubs that were in position to compete, not on their knees. I could have gotten a few results out of that Chelsea squad and Gerrard dragged Liverpool through that Champions league win.At the least, you're seemingly unaware of his records at Valencia and Liverpool. I didn't add in his stint at Chelsea, but it also fitted the bill in many ways.
Valencia will be appealing .They would, let's hope they don't go and get him! I reckon Rafa will go off and manage the Spanish national team given half the chance.
This would probably hold more water if you didn't make threads about our improvement or lack of it under Benitez every second or third day.
Or have a thread for every one of our games for the last few months.
You still 'couldn't give a shit' about this place, aye? Still calling people 'trolls' minutes before admitting doing the same yourself?
2 in 10 after sunday2 wins in 9 games.
"The New Messiah"
It that what usually happens?OK then, if Benitez goes and Nigel Pearson gets the job, he'll get slated after the first bad result.
The fuss about keeping Dick Advocaat didn't pay our at all well, did it?He hasn't and didnt do a very good job. I really don't understand the fuss to keep him.

Benitez did make a difference to results and performances, and they obviously think that a world class manager is someone not to be let go lightly.
