Before today, Southampton had only taken 2 points more than Newcastle over the last 6 games.
People have been banging on saying how easy it'll be because teams are "on the beach" - today proves exactly why that sort of assumption is bollocks.

Why is that relevant to now, exactly? Form at this stage of the season is everything, and while people may be desperate to get all excited about us relegating the mags, absolutely nothing is certain. Newcastle have 2 wins and 3 draws in their last 5 games and there's nothing to suggest they won't get a result next weekend either.
If we lose or even draw on Wednesday night, it won't be Sunderland feeling confident going into the final day, especially not if Norwich beat Watford, but aye it's f***ing class we're stopping up (even though it's not actually guaranteed unless we win our next game, but let's go on like we already have.)
